repost from elsewhere, new, need hewing

Damn, flea, you're hard to follow, but keep on writing...
"...been editing a lot lately, yet the news interests me still, but not the given news but the real news behind the news then..." ventured the goblin suspecting a system where journalists only have their own website or youtube as their outlet, where churches a muzzled by 501c3 and where academia is either too ivory tower or too bought off to speak out, smiling "...just things are going from bad to worse today, I mean no one believes the reported government figures, let alone their promises today, so where did that fanfare platform of boys home by christmas, close gitmo, rectify the patriot act, and the most transparent government to dote actually go, and with no alternative in sight too, so this then is the evident disconnect, where one has a vote but where that vote is devalued by having no alternative, like a dollar even where the dollar's promise is faring little better than the vote now, for it too is being devalued...."

at some point it's on us if we buy into promises 100%, we should quantify them before we even take them seriously, scale them back and then you have what they are really saying....on both sides of the aisle
"...doesn't matter if we quantify their promises either, because neither party will keep their words now, where the choice was between the alcoholic and the dipsomaniac towards that drinks cabinet again, the less likely of two bad choices then in that the choice was simply more hell bent war drunk george bush or absolutely anything and anyone else, but it turned out to be another heavy drinker but admittedly at a slower pace it seems..." mentioned the goblin laughing at it now, and seeing the parallel of janet yellen calling it tapering off because the overall injection of liquidity is less than it was, smiling "...meanwhile your uncle sam is like drunk going drunker still, sparring for a bar fight, and is probably going to have one hell of a hangover in the morning too..."

This is true

("...I try to post stuff that I feel you'll appreciate, where of late I've been either under the weather or just doing writing related posts now..." mentioned the goblin kind of disconnected with the mainstream news of late, wondering how far this liquidity bubble can inflate to before popping overnight)

repost from elsewhere, the goblin suspecting a spambot

http:// xxxxxx Do take a look and vote for it if you think it deserves to win. Thanks

"...naah, not until I've seen your posts here MYAHAHAHA..." went the goblin out to see if this was yet another spambot now, then adding "...it's like that other one who keeps requesting me to join his writer's group only to have spammed me with a dunce ad the one time that I joined, so I left and have given request declined each time ever since...", where the goblin's golden rule was don't go to those who aren't here, where those writers who don't post here are not here by that token, yet those who are here are answerable plus their posts clearly show their caliber too, whereupon the goblin spelled it out now, saying "...file it under no reader accountability, in that those authors who introduce their books without being on the forum afterwards are just doing "post and run", little better than the spambots then, and best avoided for the very contempt it shows towards us...", in fact, the goblin warmly welcomed anyone who turned up here, yet it was a warmth that would turn ice cold if ever the same author returned only to reintroduce himself with yet another ebook, the goblin cringed at the thought even

Well Gobin, I've been up to my keester in copperhead snakes, antique shops, and away from the computer as the wife and I contemplate moving from Seattle, WA to Mena, Arkansas. I just got back from spending a week there- and it was like stepping back to 1980. Good for the soul

("...me too, but not away from the computer so much as caught up in some computer game that doubles up as a fast forward button timewise, yes, and at my age too you're thinking, me too but for now I feel most youthful..." ventured the goblin who was also doing yet another landing on yet another writer's forum in roughly the same mental state as the computer game again, saying "...well if it was ever easy it would be worth it I suppose...")

"Ah, but games are to be relaxing" says the Old Soldier thinking out loud "The problem is even if you win- you have still lost the time that you were playing with". Shakes his head "no" "I no longer play games- I was playing "Mafia Wars" on Facebook and then realized,,,,this is stupid as there IS no end! Then it occurred to me that even if there was an end- I can't keep the dollars to spend, the cars to drive, etc- and once I understood that for real it made me appreciate death. Physical death is a good thing for physical irritating pain will cease and I'll no longer have to worry about silly things like water bills, power bills and car insurance.

I have wondered idly if in heaven it speaks of the "Marriage Feast"- does this mean we get to be gluttons with Christ's approval?" **inserts a grin of a child trying to get away with something!!***

“...well my urge to play computer games is escape pure and simply, it comes on like some hunger and leave off when I am quite sick of it, and yes to others my writing too might seem like yet another game here, yet my posting to me at least is no game, instead it's more like me stepping back from the canvass a moment to see the full picture beyond my dailylife...” ventured the goblin thanking the old soldier and who had changed over the years not only on the outside, he seemed aged now and disillusioned somewhat by a dailylife that often came across and just another game here, one where he did and said the right thing but where unlike the computer game there was no “off switch” now, sighing “...perhaps disillusion is not an achievement in itself, but at least it is the moment when one has starts to ask oneself why one isn't really one's dailylife neither, just I guess the journey to self starts from this moment then...”

Well, when I found this site, I couldn't help and resist from joining. I just write and write with things to just go on about. I've already posted my own novel here with all of the chapters so far, and I wonder what you guys think of it and stuff. *don't really have much to say about myself*But other than that, hiya!
"...sounds good human if I may be so bold as to call you one now..." went the goblin always liking any writer who was up front like that, and then adding "...why not keep us company if you like as I imagine the vast majority of arriving readers will first see this forum before they go to anywhere elsewhere.." and with that goblin thoughtfully spayed his hands apart to reveal a small thermos of coffee whose color of ink contents he slowly poured out before handing the cup to CoincidentalMadness, adding "...no need to say anything about yourself neither, where none of what you say can be proved for all your words, but what you write, and the way you write it too, will be you to your readers now, your persona by it, a mask in other words, yes nothing like black coffee to get the thoughts flowing is there...", as the goblin waited upon the moment once more

SOOOOO much spam .. even in this forum! Been there for months. And noone does anything about it. Make me a moderator and I'll clean it up.

"...I second this motion here..." went the goblin somewhat suspecting that he too would be tossed out with that spam at that point, but then smiling at his fate as something marking his time to move on anyway, saying "...well, it was just me and those spambots left standing when I first arrived on this forum, no, can you believe it I was advised not to post on the forum too, but don't I just know that those readers all come to a forum first, that they want interaction with their preferred authors amongst you all, that they won't go near anything of length without first seeing who writes what then, and above all, that they don't want any of that writing about writing waffle waffle waffle, nor those dunce ads to ebooks elsewhere neither, no they just want you authors to write directly in your posts so that they can then see you by what you write, in other words like it or not they're already reading now, yes your battle for their readership starts with your posts today, where my battle ends with my posts for I have to ebooks, why, cause I'm a livewriter pure and simple..."

repost from elsewhere

I am new in writing and this is my question; "If I include an institution's name, like a school, am I supposed to pay them? " Thank you
"...depends on the country I suppose but either way one opens oneself up to litigation or worse if things ever go wrong now, plus today things are as the rules may be, but who knows what might be around the corner concerning what one has written to date, for example you do remember all those who laughed at a certain bunch of thugs who failed to take over a town hall in bavaria in 1922, well they didn't laugh so loud when those same bunch came to power in 1933 under hitler..." mentioned the goblin, adding "...so best keep fiction as fiction then lest you actually care to go down with your writings, as something written can't be unwritten, it's just out there as you...", simply that in dire times authoritarianism left or right makes a comeback where writers of note are not allowed to hold a contrary position to that authority then, where the the house unamerican commitee would be fine another example here

Ah, to write straightforward and clear is usually called "An Instruction Manual,,,," laughing the OS said. "Now, this other author should try to emulate Hemmingway for description, and Patrick McManus for giggles that would indeed be a sign of success!!" thinking the logic through "But they'd have to do it in 144 characters or less for modern readers to follow through to the end,,,,,"

Seriously, apparently the use of "tweets" has resulted in the physical reformation of the human brain to become ADD http://bits.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/05/18/this-is-your-brain-on-twitter/?_php=true&_type=blogs&_r=0

Something to think about when you pull that wool blanket out from the hands of the little guy knitting using your belly button lint,,,,

repost from elsewhere, new, the topic of speaking out

“…well now…” started the goblin somewhat suspecting that speaking out was a good thing in itself but quite drowned in a system today that wasn’t going to budge until the debasement of currency had fully run its course, explaining “…I mean, could it be that in america at least, none of their religious institutions dare speak out for fear of losing their 501c3 tax status, and that their academia too cannot speak out neither for fear of someone pointing back at them their insipid collusion with the loansharks to fleece the very ones they are entrusted to protect from such practices, and lastly that 90% of american media is actually owned by six major corporations anyway, so no, one can rant away where perhaps it will make one feel good for doing so too, just like voting for “boys home by christmas, close gitmo, rectify the patriot act, and the most transparent government america has had to date” made one feel wonderful back then didn't it, but no, god’s true mercy is that empires bankrupt themselves where here too, america together with the west with it, will be no exception without their mentioning it by name then, nor listening to those who speak out neither, for this is both the only news and the one news they can't report on…”, how just once more the road to ruin seemed paved in a debasement of currency again, and how many times to date now, and how many empires too, where the goblin then tossed a pebble upon the hard road but the path itself was too old to care about the folly of those humans who passed this way now

Everything you have written is true. You'd think the NSA would take notes and listen but,,,,well as Forest Gump said "Stupid is as stupid does" or not do- like fix the problem. On the other hand consider this; NASA is now tracking an asteroid thats roughly the size of Rhode Island and in 2042 has a 50.2% chance of slamming into the planet. Thinking about the bible verses of "Men shall hide in caves, cursing God the rich and the poor" it doesn't take an abacus to figure out we'll blow that puppy apart and each piece will slam into earth causing massive earthquakes, famine, desolation, etc.

Between NASA saying the earth will end in 15 to 20 years, and to send astronauts to an asteroid in the 2020's tells me NASA know's more than they're telling: Asteroid Initiative | NASA

Like in "The Prince" what goes on behind the Throne is far different than what people actually see

"...they would not tell us though..." ventured the goblin about it, adding "...no, it will happen without warning and be reported if at all after the fact too, so we're on our own I guess old soldier and, apart from the prevision of labor for them we are no better than those surfs of old...", in fact, the goblin had long understood that there could be no real freedom from society where one still needed what society had to offer, but then the goblin smiled saying "...fortunately for us, they can't get the maths right, no always get it wrong and two things ruin the hopes each time, one, mass death where price of humans increases like after the plagues, or two, when they debase the currency to the point where empire is bypassed for something more credible, where hopefully the former is not on the cards so it's the latter then, just the old road to awaiting authoritarianism that we're heading to now, just a wealth gap leading to increased austerity giving way to dictatorship too, yes, does it ever change I wonder..."

repost from else, the "where are the admins, do something" thread, the goblin stabbing back

This forum is full of spam crap. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT !!!
"...do you remember some time before where whenever there was a wonderful program on television there were those intervals for ads too, well no one minded at the time because the program was just so worth watching..." ventured the goblin, adding "...likewise, it's not the spam that means this forum is bad, not the spam that stops you writers from posting up your writings neither, nor the spam that stops the readers from seeing the true caliber of you authors by the way you reach out the readers here, or not as the case may mostly be, no, what actually fails the forum is when the program provider goes around blaming the ads for the reader's lack of viewing content, yet do those readers even think upon those ads then, no of course they don't as they're just waiting for the show to begin, waiting for your posts where you are tucked away in some designated area waiting for them to go to you instead but will they, I mean why should they go to you now where they have other writer's forums with actual writers present upon them..."

("...ok old soldier a test then, just look at the news, then close your eyes as see if you can recall anything that you saw in that news that was actually newsworthy, where if you can then either they or you are slipping I imagine..." went the goblin aware that "ours is to witness" is the base of faith then, but surely they can't think us that inept to not know nonnews when it's presented to us)

repost from a writer's forum

No, I don't agree with you. They are not important. I post my thoughts on the internet and interact with people here. I don't look to my posts in search of some elusive identity. My identity will evolve over my lifetime through living, not through what words I post on an internet forum. Stop trying to tell me things you think I need to know, because I kenned all of this internet self-expression for the needy malarkey a long time ago. I just don't buy into it, myself. I am who I am here and elsewhere. No tricks, no fakery, no creation of alter-egos for my own vicarious amusement. I'll leave that to people who want to chase a life away from the reality of their mundane existencies.
"...me, I'll say it again, I actually want to know myself though what I have posted, and why not too, I mean none of us lives twice now..." repeated the goblin before continuing "...where if you want to go around thinking that you already know all about your muse as you state, or that there's no need to know neither, then bully for you then, you've reached self and now you can enjoying sweet dreams of superficiality and externalism again watching MTV at your leisure like the vast majority of humanity who don't write a sausage, but I can assure you this, simply you don't know as yet, and your selfconceit and selfcontempt shows by what you've just written...", in fact, the goblin felt himself to the opposite here, he knew his alter ego to be part of himself worth exploring, so he didn't sit on his pen, nor flog his pen to that bookworld neither as others did, for he knew too that what he put into his posts was what he would get back out of them, where the more he reflected upon his lot anonymously through posting like this the more those things that he had overlooked, or had taken for granted even, would resurface, he restarted "...moreover, can one write sincerely if one is looking over one's shoulder as to who might be reading or when compromising to that bookworld again, and you in your belittling posting have made even less inclined to read your books now but I do agree that most writers deal in fiction just chasing away that mundane as you put it, yet what one writes writes one back, so this posting is a practice of sorts...", oh yes, personas were all full of tricks, or fakery, that they were creations based up their alter-egos too for their own amusement, though by now the goblin suspected that if they didn't know this much already, then by posting on it would show them their alter-egos eventually, even to the most selfconceited amongst them who holds his own posts in contempt like such a fool even
