I'd say sassy like me. I enjoy joking around, and it would be fun to be with someone who knew how to give it right back. Great sense of humor and is a lot of fun to be around. Having a serious side is great as well. Someone who will want to serve in ministry with me and isn't afraid to put focus on others as needed. An honest communicator who doesn't play games. I'd say that would be my perfect match.

Now that I'm going to church, I think I'll pass if a Christian guy doesn't go to church.

I would much prefer a Christian woman who does not go to a manmade denominational building. One of the most unbiblical things I’ve heard is that part of being a Christian is you’re required to go to a manmade denominational building..Matthew 18:20. There’s 30,000 manmade denominations, and a denominational building on every street..doesn’t sound like the narrow way that few find to me.

I just can’t bring myself to unite with these places, many of which are 501c3 establishments, united to the secular humanist antichrist government (fellowship with darkness) for financial benefits, and will compromise with the world as needed in order to obtain their tax exempt status. Which is why many of these manmade denominational buildings now embrace many ways and satanic political ideologies.

There’s a manmade denominational building right in my neighborhood. They often advertise political leanings out front via flags or the billboard. Hardly coming up out of the world as followers of Christ are commanded. The modern pastor has his own special parking space where he puts his very expensive late model SUV and steps out in his top of the line 3 piece suit..hardly denying himself..hardly losing his life to gain it. Meanwhile there’s people who leave behind their old lives and even live on the road in campers, sacrificing their comfortable lives on easy street to dedicate their time trying to reach the lost. I’d rather fellowship with those types than in the manmade denominational buildings. They go to that timed service once maybe twice a week and the majority of them live no different than the pagans the rest of the week.

I would not rule out pursuing a relationship with a woman who attends a manmade denominational building, however it is hardly any way to grow by remaining with such establishments. They virtually all keep the pagan holidays, which is ‘strange fire’ to God. They have other sinful practices as well..politics, sports, fleshly music with emotional appeal, immodestly dressed feminist women; femininized men in tight womanly clothing. I say this not to be unkind or pharasitcal, but it is the truth and people need to wake up.

The manmade denominational building seems to push this sort of come as you are and stay as you are ideology, no real growth. How many in those buildings are in unrepentant sin? A believer isn’t even to eat with such people who profess to be believers. Above all, the manmade denominational buildings are a business. And all Caesar has to do in order to control what comes out of those pulpits is send one of his lackeys down there and if it isn’t in accordance with the current woke political trends of today, Caesar will put the screws to the modern pastor and threaten that 501c3 tax break. However, if people just gathered together in each other’s homes like the first century church did, long before manmade denominations and big business became the name of the game, Caesar wouldn’t even have the address on hand to go spy and make sure nothing ‘offensive’ or ‘hateful’ is being spoken. No need to pass collection plates and generate revenue so the modern pastor can have an $80k SUV. The first century church had it right.

I've pretty much stayed away from Churches in general given the spiritual abuse I incurred over my divorce. I'm interested in an assembly that would use a non-traditional format.

The pattern of most church assemblies is oftentimes something like this:

You arrive on Sunday morning, maybe have some kind of Sunday School. Sometimes there's coffee. Then you sing songs and hear some guy talk for an hour. Then people go home. Increasingly, this format hasn't been working for me.

First off, the schedule: I'm not a morning person to begin with, but on Saturday nights I very often will go out with friends on a dance floor, or at a nightclub. I may even be in another city that night. Early Sunday mornings are simply a no-go for me. While this may seem secular, these people are my friends.

When people at Church head for the exits immediately after that guy stops talking, I find it pretty soul-crushing. If I'm not building relationships with the saints there, then what am I doing there?

I agree there are just too many instances where the enemy has influenced the church over the last 2000yrs and it's much easier to find those who are Born of the Spirit outside of a Building Built by hands

Churches made me feel alone. I was the one with no partner, no family sitting amongst a congregation full of them. I have always been content being alone but when I am surrounded by everyone who has what I don't, I feel alone. I agree with you that churches don't do a good job anymore. The ones I went to didn't even do Sunday school anymore for adults. No singles groups either. Not enough showed up and that doesn't surprise me.

Where I live, it's mostly family and retiree aged people. The functions after church are minute, and only but slightly educational or incidental. I would sometimes attend church singles, and tyipcally they were an hour away in a major city, but they would sometimes fizzle out after a couple of years.

Something is very wrong with that picture. I felt the same way when my own marriage was falling apart, and no remedy in sight.

As far as dating went, when I was single and in my 20s, I didn't find it to be a good dating pool even though young women outnumbered young men. Many were fresh out of high school and still figuring out what to do with their lives. But the biggest problem was Purity Culture and the overall "wait on the Lord" ethic that prevailed there.

Now that I am single again for the first time in years, I'm not going to put up with that stuff again. But don't get me wrong: it is the peripheral fads and extrabiblical doctrines in American Churches these days that I am rejecting, not the Word of God itself.

I do not go to church, so i would not need the lady,women i would be dating to go. Now if she wanted to go and wanted me to go, i would go but, i would never join a church, unless it meets my theology beliefs.
