  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

....May I recommend a guy on Youtube called Rick Beato. A musical producer. The guy runs a segment 'Why This Song Is Great'....
As a working musician (in the before times anyway) I have to strongly second this recommendation. I think everyone will enjoy learning about the ingredients that go into the songs they think they know.

Before I became a Christian, I listened a lot to hard rock and heavy metal. Think, The Doors, Magma, Blue Oyster Cult, etc. After I became a Christian, I discovered that I no longer cared for that kind of music. I played a few LP's (it was some years ago...) and the thrill was gone. There was nothing to do for it, so I tore up the covers and took an awl to the grooves. Done!

As I type this, I am listening to Norwegian "folkemusikk." Good music, and restful.

As a non-musician I recommend it. It’s awesome to see how all the parts go together.

The B-52's were bad, hey we agreed on something! But Ratt was awesome. That did not last too long.:) I was listening to them the other day.

Our having something in common was bound to happen. But just be careful of Ratt. I here that what goes around comes around, and I'll tell you why .. ;)
