I’ll have to think some on this. Some bands I don’t like aren’t the worst. I just don’t care for them.

1. Rolling Stones
2. The Doors
3. Talking Heads
4. REM
5. Culture Club
6. Springsteen
7. Blue Oyster Cult
8. Stevie Wonder
9. Billy Idol (thanks @durangodawood)
10. Cinderella

Thanks for inspiring me to listen to REM Fables of the Reconstruction for the first time in forever. So good!

1) Vanilla Ice, esepcially the signature Ice Ice Baby ripping of Queens Under Pressure bass riff.
2) Iggy Brochale and the New Bohemians, especially her big hit.
3) Falco (Rock me Amadeus).
4) I got burned out on a lot of AC/DC that I liked in the 1977-1981, especially from the replacement singer, and have to count that band mostly on the list.

5) Marcy Plagyground (Sex like Candy). The song was not that bad, but it was so formulaic and generic and way over played that I loath it.

6) Frank Sinatra kind of him in general, lots of songs, "shoobey doobey do"! :)

7) Lots of country & western music, especially the guy who sang "All my Exes live in Texas". I do love some western music like the theme from the Good the Bad, and the Ugly, and the old 80s alternative Rock band "Wall of Voodoo"

8) Lots and lots of rap, from actual black rappers who are popular yet often have little musical talent (This should be much higher on the list).

9) I despise Elevator music in general! (much higher on list).

10) I'm also annoyed at certain categories of Christian music, where its a cheap rip off of secular music, or some of the newer Evangelical Church music that is super modern, and its basically has the lyrics of a Hallmark Greeting card but zero theological substance.

Luciano Pavarotti sometimes also annoys me even though he has real talent. e.g. him trying to sing modern pop songs in Opera style I think is sometimes worthy of death. :)

In no particular order
1. Human League
2. Guns and Roses
.....(we're conditioned to irritation at the sound of a baby crying aka Axl)
3. Quiet Riot
.....(Randy Rhoads couldn't save it from the singer/shouter dude)
4. Bonnie Tyler
5. Bon Jovi
6. The Beach Boys
7. Billy Idol
.....(Moni Moni. Possible the worst single song/version ever)
8. Metallica
.....(there. I said it)
9. Imagine Dragons
.....(or pretty much anything ultra compressed sounding)
10. The Ramones
.....(there. I said it)

My band got to open for them back in like '96. I will like them forever because they put on a great show. Plus "Godzilla".
Like I said, I don’t necessarily think they are the worst. Some folks do like them, and they have talent. Just not my cuppa tea.

I don't know if I can compile a top ten list..

But I generally despise KISS, AC/DC and K/J pop bands.
Oh how could I have forgotten KISS... one of the very worst ever.

Yeah.. my conservative father was like.. they look so demonic and evil.. and I'm like.. no they just look stupid. Their music is terrible too.. I don't know they they have such devoted followers. Might be a generational thing. Back in the 70s heavy metal was harder to come by. I probably would have given them more of a listen if I was born a few decades earlier. Still.

Yeah. There was Sabbath, who was great, and not too much else.

Yeah I love sabbath. When I was a kid I used to listen to them on the radio.. and years later was shocked to find out songs like Iron man came out in the very early 70s. Must have been an amazing time for music. Cannot imagine what it was like to go through a time where music evolved so rapidly. Now.. it's like a decade passes.. and music hardly changes.

Man, I cannot believe all the Kiss hate here. My very first album was given to me by my godparents and it was Kiss Alive II. It had the red discs. I loved that album and I still like Kiss. I think they are a fun band but to each their own.

The B-52's were bad, hey we agreed on something! But Ratt was awesome. That did not last too long.:) I was listening to them the other day.

Talking heads and culture club were terrible. There are too many for just 10. I did like Billy Idol though.

I think you triggered me with the New Bohemians. I despised them.
