It's apparent that you realize how absurd your contention that John 3:16 has something to do with Jesus keeping us from falling, that your original "defense"—if one can call it that—acknowledged that the text didn't have to have anything to do with your contention. "Sorry spark, it doesn't have to," is the most brazen response which only a false teacher would employ.

Jn3:16 does not have to say Jesus will keep us from falling, it is implied. I stand by my statement. Do you believe Jesus will keep us from falling? It seems like Adventism believes it is by your works of the old covenant law that assures eternal life. Read what Paul has to write about works of the Law. A good place to start is the book of Galatians.

The reason I included the paragraphs about you and the SDA church teaching a falsehood that we must tithe and observe a day given only to Israel or lose our eternal inheritance was to show who really is teaching falsehood. My statements were right on the topic of the OP
