...Are you Christian?
And its now perfectly apparent you don't fully grasp the concept of principles.
"pretty much"?
MMmmm... psychology theres a sound scientific field.......
Hmmm I wonder who the best health professional is? Could it be the One who invented health in the first place?
prin·ci·ple noun
1. an accepted or professed rule of action or conduct
Yep, I think I've got it. And yes, I am a Christian.
"Pretty much" is a qualifier I used because I can't speak for every single health professional in the world. However, I've never heard of any in modern times that would say masturbation isn't healthy.
"Health" is an abstract concept; it couldn't have been "invented" by anyone.

Masturbation is a defilement of one's own flesh because you actually are thieving. Taking something that belongs to someone else: one's sexuality that is to be shared with a spouse. A masturbator is robbing his wife of himself and robbing her of her rightful pleasure.
That's only one reason for its sinfulness.
What are you basing that off of? If that's how you feel about it, then that's fine; more power to you. But masturbation doesn't detract from the relationship I have with my husband in any way.
Yes it will. Our sexuality belongs to our spouses. Our expression is to them--only them. Scripture tells us that we are not our own, that our bodies belong to our spouses.
What scripture are you referencing? Does it expressly mention masturbation?
And assuming this is the case, I don't care if my husband masturbates (assuming I "own" his body) and I know he doesn't care if I do. We've discussed things like that at great length already. Does the scripture you're referencing mention consensual arrangements?
1 Corinthians 6:18
Run from sexual sin! No other sin so clearly affects the body as this one does. For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body.
1 Corinthians 7:3-4
The husband should fulfill his wifes sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husbands needs. 4 The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife.
How do these affect the issue of masturbation?
Sexual immorality is a sin, yes, but what makes masturbation immoral? Like I was wondering before, if I don't care whether or not my husband masturbates (if I "allow" it under my "authority"), then why is it still immoral?
It is immoral because you detour around the rightful act of sexual expression which God created for you both to enjoy together.
Secondly, you involve the mind which ventures into forbidden territory. You don't think about hanging wallpaper when you touch. And I don't believe that people think of their spouses either, or they would be with them. No, lustful thoughts are a part of the act, which are unclean thoughts, and are sin.
God revels in His married children making love. He doesn't revel in a DIY.

You must not have gotten to that part yet. Keep reading, it gets better after Genesis.
It is quite peculiar that we dont see it specifically mentioned in the law since we have a long list of sexual prohibitions there. The Bible doesnt mention masturbation any where.
Perhaps this is a good indication that it's personal and God trusts us to take it into our own hands
For your information I have read the whole bible..it was just a long long time ago. Also I am not sure how that verse has anything to do with all masturbation. I mean you donlt have to look at pretty women or hot men to touch. I mean a person can think about their own husband or wife. Or is it sinful to have sexual feelings for our spouses now too?

Thats really nice, but nuclear physics wasnt around a few thousand years ago....SEX was.The bible does not mention many things but it does teach us morals and ethics and with a formed conscious we know masturbation is a sin.

This is not any sort of valid argument.
Sex has been here since God created man and there are a LOT of sexual laws that were given.
Sexual issues that WERE here from the beginning and DO have laws in place cannot be compared to computer hacking which was not mentioned solely because there were no computers a few millenia ago.
We dont 'know' any such thing if we remove your catechism and go solely to GODS word...
