Interesting opinion, since you stated that you don't know and you don't care.

About the specifics of the deitys they believe in.

By the way, Christians who follow Christ, do not "cast spells".

It's the complete antithesis to anything to do with the living God and it is an outright abomination.

As I said they are using the rituals of their religion.

They don't seem to find it abominable. It's almost as if they have a different religion.

No, we do not.

Well it needs to go, the state shouldn't tell the churches who they can endorse, or campaign for in elections, if Atheist groups can campaign for, and endorse candidates, so should the religious. I even endorse the idea of Temples, Mosques, and Synagogues endorsing candidates.

How rude of me;

@The Hammer of Witches what say you?
Witches are powerless against God, what he wills will happen. Christians are immune to their tricks too, as the Holy Spirit indwells inside us. The problem is that Trump does not truly care about Christ. We will have to see what will happen. I myself don't believe anything will happen; Trump is of the world, and a house divided cannot stand.

No, it's a prayer to spirits and demons to come against him and those with him. If you follow the links, you'll find the actual spell wording, including...

"Hear me, oh spirits
Of Water, Earth, Fire, and Air
Heavenly hosts
Demons of the infernal realms
And spirits of the ancestors

I call upon you
To bind
Donald J. Trump
So that he may fail utterly
That he may do no harm
To any human soul
Nor any tree
Animal
Rock
Stream
or Sea"

It doesn't get any better from there.
Doesn't seem any different to me.

My point of course offering clarity that what is highlighted in this thread, beginning with the title of it, has nothing to do with Christianity and/or said "prayers" of Christians to the living God.

Therefore i agree with you.

Earlier when you mentioned "imprecatory" prayers" (as in “to invoke evil upon or curse”) it seemed that some clarity was necessary regarding these "prayers" and to whom/what was being "invoked to".

Both have the same restrictions placed on them if they choose to form under tax exempt status. Grated religious organizations are given much more leeway than others yet some still demand even more preferential treatment.

The organizations operating under tax exemption agreed to curtail theirs by organizing that way. It's not mandatory, they chose it.

Aren't you the one who hasn't read the Malleus Maleficarum but still calls themself "The Hammer of Witches"?
How do you know if I have read it or not? According to the manual they should be burned, but we know that won't happen. I chose my username because it is a part of the history of criminal justice.

By supporting on state level reimposing sodomy law, and classifying homosexuality as a mental illness, like it was in the 1950's, and support gay conversion therapy.

Once again I see individual liberty is overrated.

I look forward to states getting smacked down with Lawrence vs Texas.

And why would they want to concern themselves with that in the first place? Some people really need to learn how to mind their own business and stop trying to coerce their spiritual beliefs unto people who believe differently than they do. I think it is more like these people wanting the 'freedom' to discriminate against someone because of that person's sexual orientation (or gender, skin color, interracial marriage) and then using their spiritual beliefs as an excuse to get away with that discrimination.

Not when these liberal judges soon retire or pass on, his excellency Mr.President Trump will put in judges that support the tenth amendment as originally intended, not activists judges who internet the First ten amendments of the Constitution of the United States as their own views, and not as it is.
