wird dream I had two nights ago.

Two nights ago I dreamed a wird and twisted dream about antichrist, at least that's who I believed appeared to me in the dream.
Anyway, here I go:

I found myself in a living room at a unknown place talking to a nice and friendly friend of my mother.
This friend of my mother is a good person in general and is a very devout Lutheran low church member.
Anyway, as the dream goes on she asked me friendly if I wanted to taste her cookies (she had just baked them) and at first I where quite positive about it, but as I made a closer look I noticed how each one of them carried the same label on the outside, a barcode.

Then I got this bad feeling about it and I declined her offer, but ad I did she insisted that I should take one.
Then I got convinced in the dream that she was antichrist (barcode= mark of the beast) I don't know why, but suddenly I felt 100 per cent sure that she was indeed antichrist.

I told her ''Leave me alone, Satan'' and as I did her faced turned so evil, it was like I suddenly steared into the face of a deamon.
It was furious at me, but didn't do anything to me except scaring me.

Then suddenly I talked to my mother who where angry at me for calling her friend Satan, but I explained to her how her face had shifted into a devil at the moment I refused to eat the barcoded cookie.
I didn't get a response from my mother in the dream as I then woke up.

Again this is a wird dream and all I say is that if anyone would like to share their insights with me regarding interpretation of it please feel free to do so.

Btw it may be worth knowing that I have and had at the moment of the dream unconfessed mortal sins.
I just felt like adding that.

I have dreams where I'm told lies about another person. I know Satan is behind those dreams because they're always dark, depressing or very stressful. I'll see a person I know, then a hissing voice will say "You shouldn't like them, because...." then it hisses some obvious lie about the person.
I feel like these dreams are a way for Satan to harass us, so I try to pray to Jesus when I wake up from one of those.

yep, I'd agree that it was a harassing dream sent by satan, and it's good that you were aware of the temptation and resisted.

I don't think that it was specific to the persons involved, but more to the point that we should all be aware of our surroundings and how even the seeming innocent can be disguised temptations.

and while on the subject I want to shout out a praise to God for alerting me to the dangers of keeping hubby's medications in the house after his recent death.
Fortunately for me God spured me on to get rid of his prescription meds several days ago, which i did in obedience to His guiding. Little did i know at the time that just three days later i would be tempted by satan to go and see if any of those meds were still around.
Because i was obedient to God's leading at the time, i didn't have to worry about finding them later, because they were long gone out of my reach.

Whenever I hear about dreams, I think of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure with Pee Wee and Simone talking about dreams. Simone is talking about aspirational hope types of dreams, but Pee Wee's not really listening.

Simone: Do you have any dreams? Pee-Wee Herman: Yeah, I'm all alone. I'm rolling a big doughnut and this snake wearing a vest...

I don't know if your dream was caused by a demon. But I will address the subject of the Antichrist and the number of the beast. The Antichrist at the end of time before Christ's Second Coming is a lawless man who has great earthly power, influence, and popularity. As for the number of the beast, rather than it being in the form of a barcode, I think it has to do with man's abuse of science and technology and people being treated like numbers as happens with utilitarian socialism. Here's a good article about this: The Antichrist is Dead Set on Destroying Fatherhood

I also recommend reading the following:
When all this is considered there is good reason to fear lest this great perversity may be as it were a foretaste, and perhaps the beginning of those evils which are reserved for the last days; and that there may be already in the world the "Son of Perdition" of whom the Apostle speaks (II. Thess. ii., 3). Such, in truth, is the audacity and the wrath employed everywhere in persecuting religion, in combating the dogmas of the faith, in brazen effort to uproot and destroy all relations between man and the Divinity! While, on the other hand, and this according to the same apostle is the distinguishing mark of Antichrist, man has with infinite temerity put himself in the place of God, raising himself above all that is called God; in such wise that although he cannot utterly extinguish in himself all knowledge of God, he has contemned God's majesty and, as it were, made of the universe a temple wherein he himself is to be adored. "He sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself as if he were God" (II. Thess. ii., 2).

(Pope St. Pius X, E supremi)

I think that entirely too much time is spent trying to determine what dreams mean. I think they are generally random-ish bits of nonsense that our subconscious strings together on occasion.

But, Joseph was told in a dream not to break up with Mary. Dreams play a large role in biblical prophecy.

God communicated in dreams throughout the whole of Scripture. You cannot easily disregard a spiritual dream. There is a big difference trying to interpret every dream. Buy a silly symbolism book, etc. The majority are normal dreams. But when a person has a spiritual dream, they know it. It's different. And if a person has never experienced one then there is no explaining it.

True. I had a dream once where Jesus told me to "offer up" my sufferings for a man I barely knew. Later, when to talked to this man, he said that he was in emotional torment until (he named the date/time I offered up my sufferings). How could I have known this man's torment with-out the intervention of Jesus in my dream telling me to help him? I get biblical-type messages in my dreams a lot. I just have to be careful cuz Satan uses my dreams to torment me too. I must pray to the Lord after those for comfort.

I don't understand people that disregard these types of things. But like I said, there is no explaining to those that never experience it.

Even Peter had a dream about food. When he was thinking that it was a requirement to stay Kosher. God does use dreams.

Peters dream was about gentiles.

I had an unusual dream a couple of weeks ago. I don't remember it. My wife said I frightened her. She said I was yelling and arguing in my sleep. What's unusual about it is that I was speaking in another language.

Yes. Gentiles, the food eaten & keeping kosher.

As far as your dream...I have no idea. The spiritual dreams have something to them that do not compare with the average dream.
