  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am pretty sure he hates me since I'm gay. But thats okay, I'm more fabulous than him so I win by default.
That's like a thief saying God hates me because I'm a thief,
or a politician saying God hates me because I'm a politician (worldly one you see every day - deceptive lies and hurtful oppression of the poor).
What did Jesus say to those who were caught in sin ?
He did not say "I hate you".
Even when they were not sure they could be healed, but went to Him to see,
He healed them. (this doesn't mean they had or received eternal life, btw; some did , some [probably] did not - He still healed them when they came to Him, every one of them)

But I am not like a thief. I just happen to love someone He does not approve of for some reason. What's so bad about that I wonder.

Sin is sin.
Whether you are a thief or not is for the Judge to decide.
In the meantime, for now, the thief (the devil) , has robbed you of truth, of joy, of peace, of righteousness, and of eternal life....
the thief (the devil) has deceived all the world this way, and will continue doing so until Jesus returns to save all who are eagerly waiting for Him.

A lot of people don't find out until Judgment Day that "He NEVER knew them",
and it certainly behooves everyone NOT to be in that judgment
if they have any chance at all in this life to be healed, truly healed, as His Word Says.

The feelings and emotions and thoughts people have are usually in deception, in and throughout the whole world,
thus even hurting themselves (being and remaining subjects of the devil)
more than hurting others, but yes hurting others also, every day. This is how sin is.

Yes, much of the world's population chooses that also. All deceived of course - as you might find out if you decide to seek the truth.
"Deceived" because the devil is anything except 'pleasant' - he is devourer, hater, punisher, destroyer (of the lives of people you know and might care for), thief...

In my opinion all these attributes fit your god so why do you worship such a being.

Then I'll await judgement day and should god punish me then I'll be at peace knowing I'm morally superior to him.

At least we found out why the truth isn't important to you.... that's a relief, of sorts. (not a good relief, no; but one of sorrows, aquainted with grief)...

Oh I do care about what is true. I am just not convinced that your beliefs are anything other than wild fantasies.

If you care, then seek the truth, and keep seeking the truth, no matter what it costs. You will then find the truth, as God Promises (not as men think)
The wild fantasies you imagine are so tiny compared to the eternal wonder of the truth, you will be beyond amazed if you ever find out.

Yes I am. And when I first went to Chiropractic college and was being taught against vaccination I went home and told my wife; "Do you know what these idiots are trying to teach us? That we shouldn't give shots to our kids." My wife said; "You're kidding?" I said; "NO!". She said; "So what are we going to do? (since we had already given our daughter her first shot before leaving for school). I told her I didn't know. Well, that daughter is now 42 and has never had another shot. My son who is 40 has never had a shot. My 5 grand kids had never had a shot until just recently when my 22 year old granddaughter got cut by filthy aquarium glass working for PETCO. Work made her go to ER and she was pressured into a tetanus shot. BTW my daughter in law is the school nurse for her two kids school system. She too was medically brain washed of course with her nursing education. So when her and my son started talking about having kids and 'shots', he told her if you can convince my dad we need to, we will. I told him; "Don't you put me and my 'way of life' between your marriage, this is a decision for the two of you to make." Thank God Ann was willing to listen, when I told her I will give you all the information you could ever want to make an informed decision. God bless her, she listened, and read the books, and went to the URL's and listened to my answers when she was being questioned by 'the clinic' she then worked for. Which at that time was a pediatric practice, where one of her main jobs was 'giving shots'.
When you were at Chiropractic College what did you think about the vitalism module?

My comments are my opinions because they are based on 40 years of experience with chiropractors.
And to be far, Chiropractic is a quack theory of magic energy manipulation by pullin, and twistin’ .

And dead kids :(

Far out, and wrong - believe it or not, the American government, as poor as it is in many things, determined it is a valuable part of caring for people and protected it by federal law. Other countries caved in to pharmaceutical deception and try always to discredit it, but based on lies instead of truth.

My dad refuses to get a flu shot, he says it makes him get the flu. I don't get that, I think its ridiculous logic.

I live with somebody that can get really sick from the flu so we both get vaccinated every year. I do fell a little run down when I get the shot for a day or two , but I never actually get the flu.

People don't understand what life was like before vaccination. It was nasty, brutish, and short for alot of people.

This is obviously true, and always was, btw. Remember the 'spin'/ publishing a lie and calling it truth, is prophecied in Scripture and has been happening for generations - so if you want to find out the truth, well, it is not easy ; in fact it is impossible if someone trusts in men/ corporations/ governments of men.
The simple truth is just that, simple, and in line with all of God's Word,
contrary to most all that men publish.

It was nasty, brutish, and short for alot of people.
Read Foxes Book of Martyrs to see how nasty, brutish and 'short' life was for multitudes at the hands of the same authority that is pushing vaccinations today. (authority of men/ mankind/ 'leaders' and rulers without any concern for truth).

Seeking the truth is NOT popular, NOR welcome, in corporations , governments, medical or financial or military or religious groups controlled by men...
so seeking the truth is RARE,
and finding the truth is even MORE RARE, as JESUS said. ("few" find it)

The thing about vaccinations is that they are actually "natural". It's not a drug in the sense of chemotherapy. It's just getting your body to respond to a pathogen, like it would normally, but in a way that minimizes the harm of actually getting sick.

Who taught you that ? It is not true. No, not at all. The truth is 'findable' out there on the internet, and in the library, but must be sought to be found. It is not what is published as truth, as Jesus warned "the truth will be called a lie; and the lie will be published as truth"; and again, all that God's Word says about babylong today (look into it - the world is NOT a good nor safe place).

What does religion have to do with whether vaccination is a good idea or not?

Look up "society" and "pernicious" and "pharmakeia" for examples in Scripture.
It might take a little while, but seeking the truth about this is necessary to know the truth. Remember, the truth is never popular on earth.

Oh, btw, internet search "germ theory" to see why it is still a theory and not fact.
Also "terrain theory" which might be found to be more accurate.

I use Chinese medicine for colds, and familiar with traditional Chinese medical theory, so I'm quite aware of the limitations of the germ theory in explaining disease. But I still think its foolish to say vaccines are bad, just because... I think that's an overly dogmatic statement that doesn't live up to empirical evidence.
