That's garbage.

Over here, they kicked the Bible out of school, then dare talk about It.

Thank God, I'm not waiting to hear a school bell, I'm waiting to hear a trumpet!

Where was the bible kicked out of school? By Whom? When?

Mzungu, I pretty-well understand it pretty well.

The point I'm making though, is that the distinction is a semantic distinction.

And semantics are your forte.

Notice how the universe can be be considered "flat" -- yet made up of "spheres".

Like a layer of apples laid out -- flat, yet round.

The round apples are laid out to make a flat sphere.

By the same token, i.e. semantics, the earth can be both 4.57 billion years old and ~6000 years old at once.

And you've got nothing to go on except semantics -- we know this all too well.

What might be an example of this 'crap"?
How about teaching first graders how to put a condom on a banana, and how homosexuals make love, and its perfectly OK to explore ones sexual orientation. That is what I call "CRAP" if you want to send your kid to learn these things then don't be surprised when your kid is confused and caught in satans strongest delusions, and comes home and tells you somehow genetics fail the evolutionist theory, and hetrosexuals have a strong propensity constantly produce more and more homosexual and bisexual kids, and that its not simply perversion run rampant

I don't see the problem with any of that.

Children knowing how to use contraception is good. Knowing the truth about the fluidity of sexual orientation is good (since it is true), children already know how sex works so thats not much of an issue. And yes, heterosexuals produce homosexuals. I don't see your problem.

If you want to increase your rates of teenage and unwanted pregnancy, the best thing you can do is cut out sex ed. FYI, sex ed programs use age-appropriate materials.

You may THINK abstinence only education works, or that your teenagers are too holy to have sex, but when they disappoint you and lose their virginity you're probably going to want them to use protection.

And of course it's perfectly acceptable to tell kids to explore their sexuality. Telling them otherwise is telling them that they can't be themselves.

What you Atheists fail to understand is this, religion teaches people to bury their heads in the sand and not see what is going on around them, if they don't see it or think about it then it won't happen, sounds like a sensible thing to do to me, be honest, have you ever heard of unmarried teenage Christian girls getting pregnant? it just doesn't happen, they also don't drink, smoke or take drugs.:crossrc:

The statistics tell us that between 50-60% of American children are raised in good Christian homes which means America does not have a problem with teenage pregnancy, why? because unmarried teenage Christian girls do not get pregnant.

That's why we shouldn't teach about the existence of the moon because there are multiple theories about the moon's origin.

That's the difference. In a science book, you'd see an admission that there isn't enough evidence to support only one theory. In religion however, every internet theologian and martyr likes to imagine and loudly cry that they hold the Truth.

As long as scientists don't know everything there is to know there will be room for Gods and people to believe in them.

Of course... Christianity and religion in general are being pushed further and further back into the dark gaps of ignorance. Many Christians feel that they must make a stand on regards to evolution and the beginning of the universe and life but, just like it's happened before with many other ideas the Christians were sure they were correct about, in a few decades, the future Christians will think it's silly that any Bible-believing Christian thought that evolution wasn't true.

Before we understood the oceans, God was there.
Before we understood lightning, God was there.
Before we understood space, God was there.
Before we understood life, God was there.

God of the Gaps' residence is shrinking pretty fast. I think all that's left is a unified understanding of consciousness and there's no more room. Judging by the preliminary data, I'd say that day will come pretty soon...

So you're waiting until the myopia present in telescopic astronomism wears off before you believe in protien synthesis? They "don't know" the cause of that either.

Yes God was there. So were atoms, plates, electricity, microbes, gravity and more. The idea that one day the evidence for electricity will be shown to be non-existent based on such is equally unfounded.
God of the Gaps' residence is shrinking pretty fast.
Except that it's only expanding. Man is only getting more complex and electricity is being even more widely used.

It's the whole beast-man intelligence thingy. If one wants to know what the first men were like, the Nazarene is a good example. And no, calming a storm doesn't mean the belief that God causes lightning ;).

Internet scientists must think we're gullible or something.

If they think I'm going to keep quiet and let them brag how much of this universe they understand, when the Bible clearly says:

Hebrews 11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

... they underestimate me.

They might think they understand, but God says otherwise.

For example, Jesus said that geology screams His existence, and until Internet geologists find Jesus in geology, their conclusions about how the earth did this or that can take a hike.

Paul says the entire universe "groans" and waits for redemption -- and until Internet scientists recognize this "groaning" -- their conclusions mean nothing to me.

Well! out comes the bigotry on this subject!

Nobody in this state teaches any of that banana stuff. If such is found in .0001% of schools, Id be very surprised. or if in fact what you are imagining happens anywhere.

Well you are pretty incoherent here, but you obviously have very strong feelings. Lets just call it ships passing in the night, you and I would never ever ever see eye to eye.
