Why teach creationism in public school science classes?

I don't accept evidence one way or the other, and I would teach my son not to trust any scientist's conclusion, unless the Bible supports it as well, or unless it doesn't conflict with anything in the Bible.

Then your son will have to apply the Science can take a hike because there is nothing in the Bible that science agrees with. Only a few and insignificant historical truths like The Romans rule etc. Lucky kid; He won't have to spend years learning anything scientific. My son is giving his university entrance exams in Physics and maths and believe me he has no free time at all.

And why should your son trust the Bible -- or trust himself that he's reading it correctly?

I am not arguing the existence of God but the scientific merit of the Bible, and as far as the first I leave that up to faith, but, as for the second? I insist that science and the Bible are mutually exclusive unless one uses the Bible on a strictly spiritual sense and one does not meddle with the other! Something Creationists constantly keep forgetting.

And if we tried following the ideas, and it absolutely could not be made to work, and if fact, all known science, math, and engineering showed that it could not possibly be made to work, we would begin to suspect you werent telling it right. Esp. the part how you did it in an instant...poof... and how ti could fly. And how it looked old and half worn out as soon as you made it.
