I hear a lot of talk about how science is wrong, as if science can be bottled up into one single action or being that can be discounted. Though science is based on the scientific method, there are hardly any arguments against the scientific method itself.
I hear a lot of talk about how evolution is flawed because it cannot be proven, though neither can the theory of gravity. I see much support for nearly 99% of the sciences out there. You are all using computers, based on advanced sciences. You all take medication at one time or another, also based on advanced sciences. You go to sleep with the assumption that you will 1) wake up 2) with a rising sun 3) with oxygen to breath 4) in you rbed, not floating around the room, etc. You don't discount all the theories and sciences that make up these aspects of your lives.
So why evolution? Why the big-bang? Why abiogenesis? Why Pangea?
Is it that you truly feel that there is a major problem with science, and that science cannot be trusted?
Do you truly believe that despite the fact you readily rely on science on a daily basis, you reject parts that you don't personally agree with?
Or is it simply that you have a vendetta against anything that does not agree with your personal interpretation of the Bible?
If the sky is seen as being blue, yet the Bible were to say it was green, who would you believe?
So my question? Why is science wrong? What about it makes it incorrect?
