Huh what?
Its natural to desire for a woman, its natural to eat, its not natural to desire a sex with the same gender. Its against nature, its perverted.
Most sins are just natural things out of control, homosexuality is against nature.
This is ridiculous.
Being morbidly obese is also not natural and shows a total perversion of one’s mind. The amount of caloric intake required to be morbidly obese like so many of these pastors is mind boggling, they must be eating pizzas all day it’s sick. The OP is right it’s a joke fat pastors, their wives, and elders get a pass for obvious sin
Very interesting point. Now whether we define gluttony as over-eating, or not, I don't believe that that is necessarily your point. You are simply talking about a form of excess, or unbridled passion. The bible clearly states that gluttony is a sin and that the body is a temple of the holy spirit and should be honored.
It would seem then that people who are overweight are clearly in sin (barring medical conditions)
So why is it acceptable to be a fat pastor in sin, but not a gay pastor in sin?

What's unnatural is our overprocessed food. Our GMO semi-dwarf wheat (with celiac disease rates exploding through the roof as a result..), our High Fructose Corn Syrup, our Trans-fatty acids, our refined sugar loaded in every meal, our preservatives and artificial colors and flavors, our Hormone injected poultry, our antibiotic saturated beef. But over-eating surely is not natural either.
You seem to be acknowledging medical conditions as a reason why fat people wouldn't be in sin. Why shouldn't those people serve as pastors if called by God to pastor? The bible clearly states that gluttony is a sin and that the body is a temple of the holy spirit and should be honored.

but if you are born gay, how is that not the natural order of things?
We do not look at a fat priest and judge him. That is up to his bishop. Gluttony is a private sin best left to his father confessor. Homosexuality is a public sin demonstrating that a person has fallen away from the faith.
It is the same to say of a homosexual priest who does not flaunt his sin. It is left to the bishop.
I am sorry but I just had to laugh about putting food in one's ear. I do not understand why small children have gay mannerisms already. Some kids in first grade who are effeminate grow to become homosexual. So I think homosexuality is a very difficult condition. While heterosexuals are enjoying sex homosexuals must refrain.I don’t think being fat means that person has sin, or has necessary committed gluttony (is characterized by a limitless appetite for food and drink and overindulgence to the point where one is no…). But anyway, at least that person knows for what different body parts are for. If person would try to eat through his ear, because it is also hole in the head, I would think that could be compared to having gay sex.

Laziness is a culprit also. Exercising burns calories.
If we ate the way they did 100 years ago, even overeating, we would not have nearly so many fat people.
Overeating is "natural" in a way, God created a reward system in our brain for eating, we derive pleasure from eating, so yes, of course if food is plentiful people overeat, naturally. If you place any animal (with the same eating reward circuitry in their brain) in front of plentiful food they will overeat. It takes discipline to resist natural urges to keep eating until you're stuffed, and because of our sedentary unnatural lifestyles where we use machines for transport and labor, we don't raise our basal metabolic rate high enough through regular exercise to handle the overeating we do.
So no.
Obesity is not unnatural.
Obesity is a result of a natural body in an unnatural environment.
Given the bizarre comparison you make maybe you should examine your questions.I'm the one asking questions here.
Common usage defines gluttony as excessive eating.Gluttony is not about being fat.

A glutton is not a fat person but a person with shaky or questionable morals with no regard to body size.
Mat 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Christ was accused of gluttony but not because he was fat or ate too much but he was seen eating and drinking with sinners and publicans so the Jews thought him to be of questionable morals. Of course, there is no evidence at all that he overate or overdrank. It was more about who he spent his time with that the Jews tried to use against him.
Pro 23:20 Be not among winebibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh:
Pro 23:21 For the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty: and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags.
"of flesh"
H1320
?????
ba^s´a^r
baw-sawr'
From H1319; flesh (from its freshness); by extension body, person; also (by euphemism) the pudenda of a man: - body, [fat, lean] flesh [-ed], kin, [man-] kind, + nakedness, self, skin.
Being that the definition of gluttony does not mention food or body size/weight, and by euphemism the "eating of flesh" is a reference to immoral sexual activity involving the male reproductive organ I believe we can safely understand this is not about eating too much meat as food but drunkiness and sexual immorality. Remember that gluttony means to be of shaky or questionable morals so in this verse it is questionable sexual morals.
