At the time of Jesus, Hebrew was not a spoken or commonly used language, so it's not credible that the NT could have been written in Hebrew.
Even in modern Judaism, much of the prayers and liturgy is actually in Aramaic (or whatever common language that a particular Jewish community happens to speak), not Hebrew.
