This is wrong. They think as you do.Actually they don't believe they know that they are forgiven. They do good things and hope that is enough. So their path doesn't necessarily lead to salvation.
kindof like a get out of jail free card to do whatever you want?Right on the money. The difference is they think its "what they can do" to get salvation. Christians believe there is nothing "We" can do to earn salvation (other than accepting the gift) which is why we need Christ.
not exactly. Its not as simple as that. But both have alot of nothing in common. If they did, they'd be Christians.
No. Just read what I wrote: Those who died who knew Jesus personally and saw Him before and after the resurrection, died for a fact that they knew. Do you understand the difference?I'm sure the one who dies for faith says the same thing. Only they believe they are dieing for something that is true and everyone else is dying for faith.
Quite a paradox. Which was is true? we will never know.
Well of course it is sweetie. If you believe that Christ is your savior, you're a Christian. If you don't believe that Christ is your savior, you aren't a Christian.not exactly. Its not as simple as that. But both have alot of nothing in common.

Some think of it that way, yes.
No, try reading it again. You're resorting to circular reasoning here.
You posted this as support for the validity of the resurrection account, and yet you're asserting that it's true because the resurrection account was a fact.
No, try reading it again.
Those who knew Jesus before and after the resurrection died for a fact that they knew to be true and accurate.
The only proof I have is that there were many who witnessed Jesus' death and resurrection and died very painful deaths for saying that it happened. Why would they be willing to suffer so much for a lie?
Jesus ChristWell tell me, my boy. Can you name one leading creationist, like Kent Hovind, Henry Morris, Ken Ham, who has not been caught lying?

Nope, still doesn't chime with this.
You claimed it was factual on the basis that they died for it.
Now you're claiming that they died for something because it was factual.
Doesn't work, unfortunately.
Do scientists have evidence for dark-matter or dark-energy? What is it?Er...that's not evidence, that's an assertion. A silly one, to boot.Christianity is evidence of this sixth sense since there would be no Christianity without it: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Cor 5:7.
I can't tell if you really don't understand what She's saying or just being Obtuse, but let me see if I can explain what She means.
The Disciples saw Christ get crucified on the cross. They were horrified and scared. They went into hiding and even denied knowing or following Jesus.
3 Days later, Jesus was resurrected, He went to his disciples and renewed their faith and strength, because he was resurrected, they knew he was who he said he was and were not afraid to die for what they knew was the truth.
If Jesus didn't defeat death, his followers would not have continued because he would not have been who he said he was, which is our Savior.

Do you know the difference? Or do you just assume you know the difference? There is an absolute truth and there are lies.
I don't buy the idea that without God there would be no love, compassion, truth or justice. Love and compassion are human qualities that only people with Antisocial Personality Disorder lack. Truth is the opposite of falsehood. Justice is determined by our courts. You are not totally without God, you may deny God but you still benefit from the qualities of God on Earth. Love, Compassion, Truth, Justice.
OK.I don't know.
