Why doesn't God heal amputees?

There is no evidence of any "supernatural" intervention to heal anyone anywhere. If there was, I would love to be presented with it. Understanding that, one can come to 2 conclusions:

1. God does not perform miracles.
2. God does not exist.

Well there is always anecdotal evidence, however if you are looking for something like a technical journal, try searching for "Spontaneous Remission" on pubmed in quotes. You get a lot of results.

What would be really interesting is if we tried crossreferencing these with other factors than only medical histories.

But is it only Christians[sup]tm[/sup] that have Spontaneous Remissions, or do people that pray / worship other gods also have cases of Spontaneous Remission to point to?

Presumably the latter, but I am an inclusivist anyway. (not to be confused with a pluralist)
