Martyrs are generally labeled as such by their own groups. Radical Muslims call a suicide bomber a martyr then he's just as much a martyr as the ones in your group. It doesn't matter anyway. Your criteria for my bunny could be met given enough time. It still wouldn't make it true/valid/believable/not silly/ etc.

When you replace metaphors with facts you are able to use logic to deduce what should be found. You are able to make testable predictions.

You have to have a severe attitude change to one of humbleness and acceptance of the fact that all your vast knowledge is but a drop in the ocean.

My knowledge may be vast compared to yours, but I can barely get my head around the absolute differential calculus. Sometimes I don't read every article in Science or even Science News. Most of my knowledge is tentative, and subject to revision if new facts or better reasoning dictate.

We have to accept we NEED Him.

If you need myth and metaphor because you cannot handle facts and reasoning, that does not mean that others share your disabilities. Not all of us need Basic Theology for Dummies.
