I do have a verse that God rested so we would. So it's related to grace in that way.

The Sabbath was made for man, and the Greek word Jesus used means mankind and the Hebrew word Adam, because that is where the Sabbath started from Creation Exo 20:11 it was part of God's perfect plan before the fall of mankind.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath, as He is the Creator of it so know how the Sabbath is to be kept. The same Lord of the Sabbath who gave the Sabbath commandment, that we are to work six days, and rest on the seventh day Sabbath to keep it holy Exo 20L8-11

We are living under grace because all has sinned, but the 4th commandment is not a suggestion, it is a commandment of God, no different than worshiping other gods or murdering our brethren. Deut 4:13 James 2:11-12

I do not see the Sabbath as grace meaning, we do not have to keep. That I do not see anywhere in our Bibles.

I didn’t mean to sew any confusion, but the 613 Laws have over 40 categories. However, here is a way you can deal with it. The following link gives all 613 laws.

A List of the 613 Mitzvot (Commandments) - Judaism 101 (JewFAQ)

Take out all of the laws that have to do with the Temple and priesthood and the holidays. Then take out all of the laws you already follow. Then consider what is left. You will probably be surprised at how few are left. I not asking you to follow them, but only to consider them.

That's not what Hebrews is talking about.

Hebrews is talking about resting from one's own works to save oneself, and in Jesus' finished work which saves those who believe in him and his atoning work for the remission of their sin.

If you wish to idolize scripture, that's your perogative, don't encourage others to worship the same idols.

Jesus said to live by every Word that proceeds out of mouth of God Mat 4:4 not once saying that is idol worship, but did warn us going away from His word comes with some cautions Isa 8:20. This is a very strange argument, so I will leave it as agree to disagree but wish you well.

Read the very next verse to see which whole law James is referring to. James 2:11-12 It says nothing about 613 laws anywhere in Scripture. There is only one law God numbered by design Deut 4:13 Exo 34:28 the whole law of what James is only quoting and contrasting from James 2:11-12 is found in Exo 20:1-17 God's own personal Testimony Exo 31:18 kept under His mercy seat in the Most Holy of His Temple as seen in heaven Heb 8:1-5 Rev 11:19 where justice and mercy will come together soon.

I personally would not take becoming a transgressor of the law lightly and how people come to the conclusion it means, we can disregard, is not something I can wrap my head around.
