Why do the Leftists (liberals, progressives, atheists, pagans, marxists, western socialists and communists, south and central American socialists and communists, the Hollywood crowd, the press etc., etc.,) support Muslims and even Jihadist Muslims and repressive Islamic regimes and countries, but they are literally vitriolic and extremely oppositional towards Evangelical Christians???

I have seen this in some Right Wingers and Fundamentalist Christians.What you think is evidence is actually not. What you'll find is that you assume that all Muslims are evil jihadist suicide bombers who want to take over the world, and people like me tell you that you are wrong. You then assume that because we say that, we must be defending all these super-evil Muslims, when in fact we are not; we are merely pointing out that not all Muslims want you dead. You then decide that because the more right-wing Christians tend to hold this view, because we disagree with it then we are therefore attempting to oppress them, because we're not letting them be right about everything.
Protip - It's only in America that Catholics are largely aligned with conservative parties over moral issues. Other places, Catholics tend to be aligned with liberal parties over socioeconomic issues.
