Soldier of Christ
...you're quite right, and I know absolutely nothing about you. Show me to your testamony and I'll gladly give it a read. However, I'm not talking about a single experience, but an ongoing one, that never ends. A deep relationship with my Creator, that only deepens with time. And I can't imagine how anyone who knew Jesus in this way could ever walk away, but I'm more than willing to hear your story, if you're willing to tell, if not in the forums, then perhaps PMs or IMs...just a thought. I have had many other isloated religious experiences, with many other religions, in fact, but nothing that can compare to the all-encompassing love of God...but, I must ask, does time spent toward a thing prove it's worth, or rather the quality of that time? I'm certainly not judging you, however I've met many 'christians' who studied the religion, but yet had very little actual faith...and who also look at you like you have 3 eyes when you mention a personal relationship with ChristHavoc said:You might want to have a look at my testimony and then speak. I tried Christianity, for about two thirds of the entire time you've been alive.
What you're describing is a religious experience. Religious experience is not the sole purvue of Christianity. Practically all religions describe it just as fervently as you. Unless all religious experience is true one cannot be used as proof to the exclusion of others.
