God didn't create men and women to be in conflict. But when Adam and Eve ate of the fruit, it was one of the curses.I don't think that God, who is love, created man and woman to be in conflict. He created us to be compatible with one another. But in this world, where good and evil coexist, and especially in the end times, conflict is a consequence. Current state of affairs between men and women around the world has a lot to do with the point in time we are at.
It has nothing to do with the age. the feminist movement didn't start in the last one hundred years. there have been feminist movements all throughout history. There was one going on around Corinth. Paul addressed the issue in the New Testament because even then it was an issue.
Just general conflict between husband and wife has been going on through history. Paul addressed it as well. the whole divorce topic as well is evidence of that.
I don't understand why it is hard to believe that the conflicts between men and women are due to the fall of man? If it isn't due to creation (hint: it isn't), and if it isn't due to the fall, then where did it come from?
