As I've said before I'm not a Tucker fan. I saw the footage for myself, I want to know what the Capitol police were doing ushering the guy around throughout the Capitol and why the recording was withheld from the defense attorney and judge. That is a violation of the U.S. Constitution. Those attorneys on the select committee knew better and they need to be held accountable.

They weren't "ushering" him around. They were corralling him towards the exit in an effort to clear the building. CHP and DC Metro who were called in were outnumbered 10 or more to 1. There were very few detentions and fewer arrests due to the number of people, the sensitivity of the location and the decision to clear the Capitol as soon as possible so certification proceedings could continue.

So what's the defense for that? Did the Capitol Police not know the layout of the building, and mistook the Senate chamber entrance as the exit to the outside of the building?

The cop who lead him around at one point said he could not do anything because there were four. But when he was accompanying Jacob, and I don't know why he was, they walked through a group of six Capitol police. I think that had they wanted him out that seven cops could have removed him. Instead why was he escorted around? This is a completely different portrayal than was given by the select committee, and their withholding of material evidence in a criminal trial, and concealing it from the public, was unethical at least.
