Because I choose to be. There's nothing I enjoy more in life than the company of a woman; but probably the second thing I enjoy most is the freedom of being alone.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm currently single because I haven't found the right woman for me at this moment. I've had many girlfriends in my life and I have friends with whom I spend "quality time" with often (if you know what I mean.)

I can wait to find the right one for me.

Well, I'm single because we went to court and my mom got permission from the court to have a guardianship over me since I am mentally disabled and the court said I couldn't legally get married now because of that. But she had to have my permission and I gave it to her.

I'm single right now because a relationship should lead to marriage, and marriage is a serious thing to consider carefully. You're promising to be this person's companion and helper for life. If she doesn't take all of God's Word seriously, as I do, there will be problems. And then there's the simple matter of finding someone whose personality fits with mine.
In short, I'm single because I'm serious about finding the right person.
