Two reasons:
1 - hard to find a single Christian man in church
2 - I don't like to use dating sites because I didn't have good experiences with them in the past

Mainly, I'm just not a very outgoing person. If I go somewhere, I am the last one there, the first one out, and I probably look like I'm slightly annoyed being there (social situations). That makes me another step further away from striking up a conversation with someone.
I did see on my local news that according to some pol, more couples met at the grocery store than anywhere else. That sounds promising, shop for your dinner AND your date at the same time.

Yeah , also work and church I would think have more dating opportunities but it didn't say anything I remember about the outcomes based on how people met.
