None of that being the truth. So if Hitler was ominpotent and righteous, he would have been justified in killing about six million people in the death camps?

You said it!If "die" doesn't mean the absence of life, then I don't know what it means.
That God is righteous is the bible's opinion. You keep offering your opinion. It does not trump God's word.
Are you really comparing Hitler with God?Exactly. Hitler wasn't justified in killing people (though he was about as as almighty as a man could be in that place at that time). That's why we say he wasn't righteous.
Close enough for our purposes here. What do you mean? That death and dying is the same thing?
Alright, but the question is how the authors of the bible understand and use the term. That I don't know.
It's like Pharoah in exodus. God hardened pharoah's heart, not by doing something directly in pharoah's heart, but through the actions of Moses and the miracles God allowed. God hardened Pharoah's heart indirectly. I see torment in hell as being imposed by God, by God completely removing Himself from the one in hell. Meaning His self removal causes torment. God torments by not doing anything. Thoughts? (assuming this is coherent) haha

actually I personally believe that God directly hardened pharoes heart.
They're not close enough for any purpose. They're not in any way the same thing, and not used in the bible as the same thing. Those who are saved are given eternal life, they're not put in a state of ever becoming more alive but never actually getting to be alive.Close enough for our purposes here.
When it comes to understanding the bible we need to know how the words and terms were used at the time it was written, and the context. A dictionary tells us common uses and understanding of words now.the lexicons are the closest resource we have to knowing how people actually used the word.
What Hitler did is nothing compared to what God will do (is doing) to people. Hitler merely began God's work a little early, it's not like those people didn't deserve to be imprisoned, starved, tortured, gassed and burned.
