"deputy assistant secretary of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition" is not a cabinet officer. I doubt this person ever had a conversation with the POTUS.

...and these are "yes men" in your mind?

btw, Biden totally missed highlighting the infrastruction legislation that was passed and the significant amount of "potholes" that are being addressed. Trump never addressed our nation's aging infrastructure despite promises to do so.....

Did anyone else notice that Biden had notes he kept looking at in violation of the debate rules?
"While no props or pre-written notes will be allowed on the stage, candidates will be given a pen, a pad of paper and a bottle of water."
source
It could have been notes taken during the course of the event, which would not have been a violation of the rules.

The Heritage Foundation and other right wing organiztions wiill find more "competent" (and loyal) yes men this time around. There certainly not be a WH Chief of Staff that igonores his orders....
Two questions:

1. Is it commendable for a Chief of Staff to ignore his bosses orders? Isn't that what he/she is there for.

2. If Biden's chief of staff ignored his orders - would that be commendable?

No. However, if the CoS deems the order is illegal, he/she could ignore the order.

What on earth does that have to do with your swipe at Trump?

My origianal point was Trump will surround himself with yes men. There will be no guardrails in the White House.

What makes you think that Biden is any different. That is my point. I have not heard of a member of his staff saying anything not approved by the hive.

Have any members of the Biden Administration, or for that matter, any other administration, found it necessary to not comply with the President's orders?

1. White House counsel Don McGahn refused to fire Mueller

2. Attorney General Jeff Sessions refused to un-recuse himself in the Russia investigation

3. Former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski refused to tell Sessions to tell Mueller to limit the scope of his inquiry to only future election interference

4. FBI Director James Comey didn’t see a way to drop the investigation into Michael Flynn

5. Department of Homeland Security boss Kirstjen Nielsen refused to close the southern border

6. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson refused a litany of Trump’s requests; “Mr. President I understand what you want to do but you can’t do it that way,” Tillerson later recounted. “It violates the law.”

7. Staff secretary Rob Porter refused to reach out to Associate Attorney General Rachel Brand to see if she was sufficiently on Team Trump and, if so, might be interested in overseeing the special counsel investigation

8. McGahn refused to go back on his story that Trump had asked him to remove Mueller – and refused to write a letter for the White House with such a denial.

9. Defense Secretary James Mattis refused Trump’s exhortation to back the withdrawal of American troops from Syria. Mattis resigned instead.

10. Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel refused Trump’s order to bus undocumented immigrants detained at the border to sanctuary cities in Democratic-held congressional districts.

11. Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein refused Trump’s request to state publicly that his memo was the impetus for Comey’s removal

12. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus refused Trump’s order to find a way to fire Sessions

13. Deputy national security adviser K.T. McFarland refused to write a memo making clear that Trump had not told Flynn to discuss sanctions with the Russians prior to coming into office.

I don't think anyone won.

A lying egomaniac against an aging man with a superlative presidential record who no longer can fight the evil fire eating dragon.

I have been concerned about how Biden would make it to 86, but he assembles competent staffers and listens to and trusts them.

The lying egomaniac had three kinds of staffers--the ones who left in disgust, calling hima moron and worse; the ones who didn't follow his nonsensical edicts and were fired; and the grifters who overspend and robbed the government blind.
They should add elderly abuse to the list of charges because Trump destroyed Biden so badly that his own party is talking about ditching him. Ironically for the very reason Republicans have been talking about but we're dismissed as "cheap fakes."

I'm glad left wingers are finally acknowledging what right wingers have been pointing out about Biden for years.

I feel sorry for Biden. He should be at home or in a home, not running the most powerful country in the world.

Anyone who believes that liars win anything seems sorely mistaken. Especially those who claim to be Christian. Something is definitely being destroyed, sadly. Faith, grace, salvation etc.

Guardrails? Those powered chairs that are attached to stairs had to be installed in the White House to prevent Biden from falling up them.
