I have been concerned about how Biden would make it to 86, but he assembles competent staffers and listens to and trusts them.

The lying egomaniac had three kinds of staffers--the ones who left in disgust, calling hima moron and worse; the ones who didn't follow his nonsensical edicts and were fired; and the grifters who overspend and robbed the government blind.

The problem for Americans... they confuse cleverness for wisdom. I think Biden is far wiser than Trump. But I'm not sure wisdom counts for anything from the American public.

The right is doctoring videos to make it look like how Biden acted during the debate.

Trump has worse cognitive decline than Biden.

If through no other means, Trump won because Biden exhibited in spades what's been said about him being frail and cognitively challenged. The democrats can no longer claim that's not the case with any credibility.

I prayed that people could see the truth... this is all I wanted. God answered my prayers.

I've googled "Presidential Debate Analysis", and the left-wing media sources are more silent than normal. I guess they're trying to manufacture clever talking points and will come out in force later...

I will say that Biden did better than I thought. That’s not saying much, but still. And Trump was Trump. The thing that helped Trump was that he didn’t spend the evening interrupting his opponent like he did in previous debates.

Both had their alternative facts. But I think because he showed restraint and didn’t come off as a bully, the edge goes to Trump.

Biden is a wise old man.

As a life-long Democrat, I was shocked at Biden. He cannot win. He should have decided not to run a year ago. He did his job in 2020. He kept trump out of the White House.

It is sad to consider Bide n trying to handle this very, very, demanding job 3 or 4 years from now. It must be clear to everyone that he would likely be stepping down sometime in his term.

There is really plenty of time. Biden controls the delegates. He needs to stand down and have the discussion of alternatives.

Biden needs to have discussions over the next week or so, deciding on next steps.

If the decision is Harris, he should step away from all the decisions of the job now, other than foreign policy and being Commander In Chief.

If the decision is to leave the decision open until the convention, then that should be immediately announced.

Let's be clear. Because this wasn't done a year ago, Trump is very likely to win. However, there is a chance of beating him. Almost as important at this point is preventing a landslide that will bring the Republicans control of the House and Senate. Folks would have no problem running with almost anyone else at the top of the ticket. Biden is a potential disaster.

The pitch of his voice seemed lower than usual. What can cause a voice to drop, aside from a virus?

Any sort of fatigue, obstruction, or injury can do that: shouting too much, illness, inhaling something dangerous, etc. It’s not necessarily indicative of anything else, but boy does it not look great.
