Any sort of fatigue, obstruction, or injury can do that: shouting too much, illness, inhaling something dangerous, etc. It’s not necessarily indicative of anything else, but boy does it not look great.

If a co-worker joined a teleconference with a customer sounding like Biden did in his first answer, I would have asked the empoyee to sign of and get some rest.
IMO, someone in the Biden campaign should have postponed the debate.

There were many gaffes by Biden. He simply wasn't in a state to articulate what he wanted to say.

I've googled "Presidential Debate Analysis", and the left-wing media sources are more silent than normal. I guess they're trying to manufacture clever talking points and will come out in force later...

Clever talking points. Donald Trump is a felon and tried to overthrow our democracy on his way out of office.

That said, the clips I saw of the debate it went terribly for Biden.

Outperforming in a debate means you were able to defend your points and made a good argument for your side.

It doesn't matter if you like the position, Donald Trump won the debate. He did a better job defending his position and making his arguments.

I think it's telling that while most democrats are horrified by Bidens performance, conservative posters seem to agree that he was better than they thought he'd be.

Unfortunately, it is - especially if your opponent doesn't call you out for it. Biden didn't do a great job of fact-checking Trump's lies on the fly.

I didn’t watch, but it sounds like there were no surprises and went as expected. I don’t want Biden as president but even frail he is better than the alternative. I am so disappointed with our two party system and the candidates offered.
