Anyone who believes that liars win anything seems sorely mistaken. Especially those who claim to be Christian. Something is definitely being destroyed, sadly. Faith, grace, salvation etc.

It's going to be okay. I am sure the DNC will dump Biden and replace him. But speaking of liars, I am upset with the media lying to the American people and dismissing Biden's cognitive decline as "cheap fake" MAGA propaganda.

The problem for Americans... they confuse cleverness for wisdom. I think Biden is far wiser than Trump. But I'm not sure wisdom counts for anything from the American public.

I think that it would have been wise for Biden to pass the torch.

Trump has worse cognitive decline than Biden.

If that's the case; then it's clear that Trump started with a lot more upstairs. At least Trump had the sense not to come unarmed to a battle of the wits.

Most likely it was some third world country that was elevated by the obvious diminshing of the USA by that event.

I would say RFK Jr won from this debate. The USA is diminishing because of our political fighting.

Learn a lesson and parse your consumed information. All media is profit driven. Are you as upset with your media sources for feeding you your preferred, dishonest narratives as well? I see evidence to the contrary in reading your comments. Happiness doesn't result from deceiving ourselves I've learned.

I did. But I don't think notes are a bad thing for a debate and don't understand why they weren't allowed. Maybe they did this for the fact checkers so they'd be able to call someone a liar.

I voted Trump for the debate but Kennedy would destroy Trump with substance if they ever debated.

I would have liked to have seen Kennedy in the debate. He can't win, and he was not qualified under CNN rules, because he is not on the ballot in enough States, and he is not polling high enough.

That said, he could have brought important issued to the debate, that the American People want on the table.

He didn't even practice. They were chiding him for that. 'While Biden is sequestered at Camp David for a week preparing, Trump is out campaigning rather than doing any prep.

They should add elderly abuse to the list of charges because Trump destroyed Biden so badly that his own party is talking about ditching him. Ironically for the very reason Republicans have been talking about but we're dismissed as "cheap fakes."

I think Democrats have given up this race. If they replace Biden, they will have to concede much ground and also answer for what has been allowed to happen... and Trump will win in a landslide. If they keep Biden and insist he is fine, people have seen the truth... and Trump will win in a landslide.
It is time for Democrats to go away until they have re-invented themselves... maybe try again in about 12 years after we have had 4 more years of Trump and 8 years of his VP.
Biden has managed to be worse than Carter and I suspect we may very well be about to have the most conservative decade in a lifetime.

Biden just failed miserably. He had a look on his face of utter confusion.

I noticed that too. Biden won first choice, of which side of the stage to take, in a coin toss. He chose the right side; because the eye tends to look toward the right, putting more attention on him.

That was a poor choice for him in my opinion.

Maybe the question shouldn't be who won and lost. Maybe the question should be WHY doesn't America adopt a policy where there are age limits in order to have the Presidential job! How about the latest you can run is 70 years of age and if two terms that finishes one off at 78. That would take out both of these men. Or they can run at 74 but only allowed one term bottom line DONE at 78.

I don't believe how gifted I was if I were 78 and people were telling me to run I'd say NO WAY. Having an age limitation ensures at least with the best possible scenario that you're leader is going to be on his game. I'd say if there's no other capable people to sit in THAT CHAIR with a population of well over 330 million then that doesn't say much about the nation does it.

It will be interesting to see how things unfold over the next few weeks. Will Biden basically disappear from public appearances? What will the next sets of polls look like? And what will Trump's July 11th sentence be?

That said, the clips I say of the debate went terribly for Biden.

I think Biden shows that he truly is not all there....does fumble in speech and loses train of his thoughts. I do think to a measure where he has this look like he blank and starring out in space to be fair I watched him and his mind was just taking in and processing Trump's statements for when Trump was done he'd pounce back on Trump's last words.

That doesn't speak to me that his mind was gone but it's just the look sometimes that elderly people have. But without contradicting myself he did look like loosing direction with much of his thoughts......truly not good enough to be President in my opinion. As I said in a prior post there should be age limits for any President. 70 to start and 78 when you're done which would set aside both of these men.

Some people are sharp and grow wiser throughout their entire lives. Elections can weed out those who are not qualified. The problem I see here is that we have a career politician, that the Democrats failed to let go.

Carter was "bad" because Reagan was making a deal with Iranian Mullahs to make him look bad.

I think if one is truly wise they won't run to be President of the United States past 78. I'm not saying they can't or should not be in the leadership of other type of things but the President's job, Commander and Chief should have at the top one's who' mind without question is sharp. I think they can celebrate their elderly years of life with other achievements which is fine.
