About 2 days ago 34 hit by the White House coronavirus infection had been identified:

The coronavirus outbreak has infected "34 White House staffers and other contacts" in recent days, according to an internal government memo, an indication that the disease has spread among more people than previously known in the seat of American government.
34 people connected to White House, more than previously known, infected by coronavirus: Internal FEMA memo

But just today, we learn about White House workers/residential staff infected:

"Two additional White House residence staff members tested positive for the coronavirus in an outbreak first reported there nearly three weeks ago, two people with knowledge of the events said.

"That brings the total number in that
[staff] outbreak to four people, including three members of the housekeeping staff who work on the third floor of the residence, as well as an assistant to the chief usher, Timothy Harleth, the two people said."

So...it's well above 30 now detected.

Some of those originally infected at the White House Super Spreader Event were themselves highly mobile people that had plenty of time to infect others (e.g. senators, the republican party chairperson, etc.) during the time before Trump finally reported to everyone he'd gotten infected, and so that finally some realized they'd need to test themselves, many days after their exposure.... time enough to begin spreading it themselves.....

(When was Trump last tested previous to that test that detected his infection?)
...

Including Trump (as a spreader himself), who went to a fund raiser after it was clear there was a virus threat due to his close aide reporting her positive test, who he'd been with...

"The White House learned of Hope Hicks' positive coronavirus test -- and exposure to the virus by President Donald Trump and others -- before Trump arrived in New Jersey for an indoor fundraiser on Thursday, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows said, but allowed the event to go forward anyway.

Hours after the fundraiser at Trump's Bedminster golf club, the president was diagnosed with COVID-19.

"Hope Hicks, we discovered (her positive test) as Marine One was taking off yesterday," Meadows said. "We pulled some of the people traveling in close contact."

Hicks, a senior advisor to Trump, traveled with the president on Air Force One and Marine One on Tuesday and Wednesday — however it is not known where, how or from whom President Trump and the First Lady contracted the virus. CDC guidelines recommend anyone in close contact with an infected person to quarantine, but Trump traveled to New Jersey and held the indoor fundraiser. Meadows did not explain why.
White House Knew of Trump's Exposure Before He Traveled to New Jersey

Trump basically....well....ignored the basic safety rules of isolating if you've been exposed to someone with the virus, and getting tested yourself first before being around other people (!) -- to first find out whether you have it...

To avoid risking infecting other people!

He didn't follow that basic protect-others practice -- he went ahead with the fundraiser.
