Then there has to be a rational explanation as to my casting out a demon, and encountering other demons (being a believer) instead me being mentally ill. So then... how do you explain my experience? Surely you must believe it must be a delusion of some kind (of which I do not subscribe to). Where did this delusion come from? You do realize other believers have had similar encounters, right? Are they being deluded, as well? If so, by what? How?
Christians have even cast out aliens in the name of Jesus, too. They smelled brimstone and sulfur (Which is what others also experience sometimes when they had ghost encounters). The deceptions of the enemy are rampant. But again, if you don't believe the devil is around, you can fall prey to believing in following the alien religion today or get caught up in ghost encounters (Which are just demons in disguise). This again is the problem in not believing the devil is around. You have to throw out Ephesians 6 because it does not apply to you because the devil is not around. There is no need for you to put on the armor of God. No schemes of the devil to worry about. But see... that is exactly where the devil wants a person to think. For if one does not know there is any scheme of the devil, they will of course fall prey to one of them in some way.
