Um ... no.
As far as I know, gravitational force is a result of the earth's molten outer core revolving around the solid magnetic inner core. Interestingly, scientists found that the rate of revolution of the molten outer core has been slowing down for the last 160 years. Without divine intervention, the earth will die and cease to support any form of life at some point.
Amos 9:9 For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. What's that? The bible doesn't even mention gravity at all? Go figure.

The Bible does not mention the word 'gravity', per se; but It mentions gravity's effect; the same effect Newton observed when he discovered this gravity.
Except for one thing: we are made in the likeness and image of God.The anthropic principle puts the cart before the horse, IMO.
Believers in God say that life on our planet could not exist if even the slightest variation our situation was changed.
The person wielding Occam's Razor would say that BECAUSE of the situation, these kinds of life could be expected to flourish.
Except for one thing: we are made in the likeness and image of God.
What he is doing is making the same mistake I see so many people make. Now there's proof for ya!
Well now ain't that a crying shame? That is an article of faith and not subject to scientific scrutiny.
Ya -- or to quote Mr Newton: "Eureka!"It says "stuff falls". Awesome.
Are you saying god looks like a chimpanzee too?Except for one thing: we are made in the likeness and image of God.
Are you saying god looks like a chimpanzee too?
People in glass houses....No, I haven't. But please, continue to tell me what I think. Its almost as entertaining as the silly threads in General Theology in which people tell Roman Catholics that they worship Mary.
Stop trying to garner worship for man's knowledge in general. Yes, we know some things, and have some good and bad advances. Off topic.Have you been living under a rock? Besides giving you a computer with which you can complain about how worthless science is, its given you all of this:
immunizations - Google Scholar
Your irrational hatred for knowledge would appear to be part of the topic, so long as you continue to exhibit it. If it upsets you, try being more neutral.
At least like a primate. It's always a fun little detour getting into the whole issue of why God needs genitals.[/quote]
Hmmmm.....
(I wonder where all those angels came from? ... just sayin')
Ok, so the little bit of mass in space we know about means .....what?? Seems to me all it means is that there is more physical stuff for gravity to do a number on. In what way does that explain what either space or gravity or any fundamental force??Well first of all space has some mass to it, the way I've looked at it, and mind you I'm no scientist, this is just giving a way that gravity could be part of matter and not seperate.
I see it as sort of like the universe is a liquid that can condense into a harder material, unless the ammount is big enough to warp the entire shape of the liquid's outershell, only a small local area is effected by the condensing.
