The problem with prophecy is like all the prophecy for Israel.
Is it fulfilled by the true vine, Gods people, the church, or as some think Israel and the church?

Now politically this is dynamite stuff which is actually real in the world, as Israel relies on support from the USA and the christian right wing. You also have the conspiracy nut cases who think everything is fake and just a show. These guys are so dumb, covid-19 is fake, even when 100,000's have died from the virus.

I am not a zionist, and I deplore the injustice of Israel and the settlements, the racist discrimination against non-Jews, but equally support Israel as a nation has the right to exist.

The problem with a lot of the prophecy is it talks about horses, not tanks, planes, missiles and bombs.
And the judgements in the book of revelation are astounding. 33% die. Today that is 2.3 Billion people. We are not going to miss this happening. Covid-19 is just a play thing in comparison.

So many say look at this or that problem, while ignoring more people in the world today will live to be 70 years old than ever in history. There is a greater chance that a life threatening illness will not kill you than ever before. Now please tell me where in scripture this is prophesied, that we would live in an almost heavenly place, and the debate would be how we cope with dementia and the slow loss of our faculties in old age? And which dominant economic system runs the world? The constrained government free market. And it feeds us daily a wealth of produce as if we are Kings and Queens, flown daily from all over the world. That is stunning, unbelievable, yet where in prophecy is this?

Please start another thread for the topic you are discussing. I don't want this thread to spin off in other directions. Normally I would not mind so much, but in this thread in order to achieve the objective, I need posters to, if they want to participate, put their posts in this format....

Okay, thanks for your reply. I am going to leave it as No Rapture (traditional). Because I think that would work for you as well, generally speaking, albeit perhaps not perfect. At the same time I don't want to create another category specific to keras's end time scenario of "No rapture to heaven", which I think is unique to him.

Keras, you are in such a minority regarding that view, if not the only person I have heard express it in my 50 years of being a Christian, that I don't want to customize with that specific.

If he is saying that their is a rapture in which we are caught up to the clouds, then I have heard that as well and agree that this is what Paul says.

Yes, Hank77, that's how the opening post is supposed to work. Posters, on a voluntary basis, can pick and choose only which of the categories they see their fundamental position(s) fitting under.
