I don't know if this was meant to be a joke or if your serious, but I weep for humanities future either way. This is just sad, the display of willful ignorance is just astonishing.
'Willful ignorance' is a way of life; else we would scratch ourselves to death seeking omniscience.

I'm willfully ignorant in a lot of things, and I'm sure you are too.

This is my wife's life verse:

1 Corinthians 2:2 For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

It's what we also call a signature verse ... a favorite verse you have.

When you sign your name to something ... like a Certificate of Baptism ... you put your verse number down below it.

Mine is Galatians 3:26.

Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

So it's part of your religious ritualistic tradition, then? Will you be required to show your "Certificate of Baptism" to St. Pedro on the way to the heaven?

Being that we can't live 1000 years, we pass on information through memes, literature, traditions, and customs. This collective knowledge builds up over time. I believe we as a species actually can know God's design, we've acquired a lot of useful bits of information no thanks to willful ignorance. Am I ignorant to a lot of things? Of course I am. Do I choose to be? To some, yes. But I don't make up fantasies about what it'll be like in heaven or whatever just to fill in the unknown. That reasoning won't get us anywhere.

How did we get our moon?

If that information is encoded in God's creation, please tell me.

Do you think that just because we don't have the answer right now that it is forever unknowable?

There was once a time when we didn't have the answer to how the sun kept burning.
If it is spread out across the universe, as some think, I'm surprised we don't know it by now.

I was going to ask what God's name was, according to God's creation, but I thought I would make the question easier.

Oh yeah? How do we fight infections?.... Huh?!

Wait.... n/m
I think I'll just take his point with a grain of sand.

I'm sure someone would have answered it by now.

If what is spread out? The moon? Honestly, what are you going on about?

I was going to ask what God's name was, according to God's creation, but I thought I would make the question easier.

Show me anything that says God's name that comes from the actual universe (not the Bible) and I'll drop out of all discussions on here completely.

A rock that says, "Made by Yahweh" would be nice.

I dont know, I'm not an astronomer.
Whats your answer?
So much for knowing God's design and acquiring a lot of useful bits of information, eh?

His design can tell you we came from the jungle, but it can't tell you where the moon came from?

Like I said ... I'll take your point with a grain of sand.

Well I would think that we got our moon through some sort of natural process. It certainly didn't just poof into existence. Much like how early life forms developed, through natural processes that happen to occur in our universe. Just because we don't fully comprehend the mechanics of such processes does not mean we can't know or never will. Science has shown us a much more detailed look at our world around us, and every time we look, there's more to find and more to learn.

Any "point" anyone has ever made, that's based in reality, is a direct result of the scientific method.
