God's Way is ALWAYS BEST, and so far, you have not presented it.
Religion is bad for society as well, and Christianity is not a religion no matter what evangelicals say. It wasn't seen as a religion in the days of Rome. The Christians in fact back then were called Atheists. They may need our love, but that doesn't mean that their lifestyle isn't bad for society. Kids raised in single parent homes don't have the same support that ones in a traditional household with a mother and father have. I know this from experience. As for the gays, that's a subject of another thread, and there have been numerous threads on that subject.
Yes, 'cause using violence to combat violence always leads to world peace.Actually, no we do not lack compasstion we just realize that sometimes in this world violence is needed.
so any gun that contains more than one round then?I'm talking killing multiple people at the same time.

Yes, and when people do so they can and will face criminal charges.I don't know! I don't give jack! All I want is to keep people from being murdered! And besides, you can easily forget to put the safety on and pull the trigger by accident.

Religion says, "The good people are in and the bad people are out." Jesus says, it's the humble who are in and the proud who are out.I agree with you about religion. But I'm not sure what your point is.
My friend in Christ we do not idolize guns. We just will not be pushed around on something we believe in and that includes our Bibles and our Guns becasue both can be used for good or evil and both can be the mark of winners or losers. YOU pick which it will be when you get up in the morning. This evil kid chose to be a loser and chose evil.I don't know what the solution is. Seriously. I don't give jack about politics. But I do care about how Christians now tend to idolize guns. For every 100 people, there are 88 guns within the United States. (Mccarthy, Beckett, & Glenza, 2017) It is estimated there are about 265 million guns in U.S. citizen hands. These numbers might seem outlandish, but this is largely because roughly half of these guns are owned by a mere 3 percent of the population.
Except Wikipedia is not a reliable source.Based on 2017 numbers, there were 275 people killed in mass shooting from Jan to Jun 2017. That is about 1% of all gun deaths in 2017. Of the gun deaths, typically 60% are suicides.
That means that if 550 people died in mass shootings for the year 2017, that constitutes about 2.8% of all gun deaths in that year. That would be about 8% of all non-suicide gun deaths.
Gun violence in the United States - Wikipedia
Fewer people have died from mass shootings in 2017, but that's only part of the story
Of course, using data is heartless. We must decide these things on pure emotion.
and they will use just about any tool. Even tools that are not traditionally seen as weapons.Yes, people kill people, but people also regularly use TOOLS to kill those people!
Except the good guys apparently are not guarding their weapons well enough.
I'm not gonna be debating God and his role in the evil of this world or whatever. What I am going to say is something that needs to be said.
We've had yet another school shooting this morning in Texas. We've had yet another wicked, truly evil person walk in freely and murder eight students. If that does not outrage you, you are not human and have no pulse.
The last thing we need to offer are just "thoughts and prayers." Thoughts and prayers are not enough anymore. God hates gun violence. Period. And so should we.
How many school shootings is it going to take for the church to wake up to the fact tha
Bottomline, this is all outrageous and disgusting. All of us, liberals, conservatives, Christians, Atheists, whatever! We all need to start sending demands our police and politicians and gun manufacturers, "DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!"

How many school shootings is it going to take for the church to wake up to the fact that there are truly evil people in this world? That Satan has made it clear he is not going to play fair? Does it have to go so far as to seeing their own children murdered? I'm all for the second amendment, but is it worth defending at the cost of these kids lives?

He took them from his dad.How are all these nut jobs (or rather people with evil hearts) able to get these guns? Are they just lying around waiting to be picked up? Just upholding the second amendment is not going to make these shootings go away. I agree, we need better law enforcement and mental health facilities. But we also need to keep out of these people's hands weapons that can be easily converted into semi-automatics.
Guns are never more important than people.
You asked a question in your title "When is it going to be enough?" The answer to that question is not the abolition of mechanical devices that use projectiles or all weapons in general. When it is enough, mankind will repent and turn to God's law. Until that happens the violence will continue.
The real problem is American culture and society. Are we really surprised and dumbfounded by all this violence? Look at the video and computer games our children are playing today. 90% of them are about killing something or someone with a type of gun like weapon. How about the music and all the lyrics of violence there. What about all the movies and TV shows that validate and glorify evil and violence. Some of the number one TV and movies are about drugs dealers and all the people they kill who get in their way by design or accident. Liberals have created this violent society by legislating God out of our societal institutions and now they cry foul. Their only solution is a socialist police state. If you believe the answer to the problems we have with violence is less of God and more of the State then you are condemning America to slavery and servitude to a dictatorial police state, Elite governing liberals love this idea because it increases their power and wealth. Until America is willing to deal with the filth, hypocrisy, corruption, and rotten decaying ideology of our modern society nothing will be accomplished. Just treating the symptoms and ignoring the disease does not heal the patient.
Actually, the areas of the country with the strictest gun laws have the most gun violence. The United States has the highest homicide rate of all industrialized nations. The United States has least strict gun control laws of all industrialized nations. Louisiana has the most permissive gun control laws in the USA and the highest homicide rate of any state.
Britain banned semi-auto guns. Australia banned semi-auto guns.
Germany requires gun permits for all gun owners. No permit, no legal right to own a gun. They do background checks on everyone requesting a gun permit and have a one year waiting period.
The US should have universal background checks, gun permits and ban semi-automatic guns.
People who own guns are more likely to die of gunshot wounds than people who do not own guns.

I played Tomb Raider growing up. That involves "gun violence," and I turned out fine! You asked a question in your title "When is it going to be enough?"
