If you own firearms, your responsibility is to be sure they do not get in the hands of someone with murderous or suicidal intentions. You of all people should know how deadly and dangerous firearms are. We do need better law enforcement and mental health services, but we shouldn't be selling weapons without doing background checks, nor should we be selling weapons that can easily be converted into killing machines.

Since you keep objecting to the second amendment. Is your only option to repeal the second amendment and for government to confiscate all guns in the US?

What about the laws and regulations not being enforced enough? People may kill people, but people also usually use tools to kill people.
