Comparing mass shootings using assault weapons with not allowing prayer in public schools, single parent homes, abortion, an extremely controversial but legal procedure and the politics of those hated "liberals" is just reprehensible.
.
Well it's a good juxtaposition that's true so get used to it. And, it's not a matter of "religious right". It's a matter of common sense and having a functioning conscience.

When you have a culture that says it's just fine for a woman to murder HER OWN FLESH AND BLOOD IN THE WOMB then of course you're going to have stuff like this.

All these little monsters saying "prayers do nothing". REALLY? So you think if these shooters feared God's judgment, and were praying for the good of their classmates, that they'd still be doing this? It's not possible to be that stupid. Evil and a heart controlled by Satan is the only explanation.

I feel sorry for you, that you feel the need to hate those Jesus called us to love. I pray God opens your eyes to your pride and hate before it's too late.

It seems to be common sense to me that if you immerse yourself in false stuff long enough that you will not fully recognize reality. Speaking of which, I'm going fishing :]
Yes, my biggest problem with those games is not the violence, but the fact that kids sometimes forget that in real war/life people do not just come back at a particular point. That is my biggest problem with "reality" in those games.

I'm not gonna be debating God and his role in the evil of this world or whatever. What I am going to say is something that needs to be said.

We've had yet another school shooting this morning in Texas. We've had yet another wicked, truly evil person walk in freely and murder eight students. If that does not outrage you, you are not human and have no pulse.

The last thing we need to offer are just "thoughts and prayers." Thoughts and prayers are not enough anymore. God hates gun violence. Period. And so should we.

How many school shootings is it going to take for the church to wake up to the fact that there are truly evil people in this world? That Satan has made it clear he is not going to play fair? Does it have to go so far as to seeing their own children murdered? I'm all for the second amendment, but is it worth defending at the cost of these kids lives?

Bottomline, this is all outrageous and disgusting. All of us, liberals, conservatives, Christians, Atheists, whatever! We all need to start sending demands our police and politicians and gun manufacturers, "DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!"

did you look at the chart; there's no way that you had time
mostly men and mostly semiautomatic/automatic weapons
This statistic is not the motive factor/ the common denominator, so it is not important in resolving the issue you have.

There is more men that DO NOT kill others, and more men and women who have those weapons WHO DO NOT kill others,
so keep praying and looking for a real solution.

You can't take the men away,
and you can't take all the weapons away,
but you can reduce the number of men who go on shooting sprees.... that IS THE GOAL, right ?

Do you actually have a coherent argument, or are you just here to troll? Because that's all you've been doing: personal attacks and trolling.

It's an exaggeration to say people use guns more often than not to commit sins. I've owned guns all my life and I've done enough sinning and I didn't need any guns to get that done. And I've never had a problem defending the life I love. Yes God cares about people and that means my people too; me and my family which I have a biblical mandate to care for and provide for and protect. It's not about hating others, but about setting priorities on your loves. You may have to choose and I will always choose my own safety and my family's well being over and above anyone else's. And I am ready to stand before God with that priority someday, so who are you?

This is why so many of us have difficulties with the religious right.

Why can't you just admit that you are extremely conservative, politically, or that you greatly fear offending your extremely conservative donors?

Comparing mass shootings using assault weapons with not allowing prayer in public schools, single parent homes, abortion, an extremely controversial but legal procedure and the politics of those hated "liberals" is just reprehensible.

The public has no need for military assault weapons. These weapons are designed for law enforcement and the military. The opinion that outlawing these killing machines from the general public will "just be the first step in taking away my freedoms" sickens me.

I am a Christian who wants to love like Jesus, who never called for a theocracy. His kingdom is not of this world.
The public having military weapon agruement may work except for the fact that the AR-15 "assualt" rifle is not used by by ANY branch of the military. Weapons that are fully autmatic are illegal.

there is no reason why US. can't take action and have stricter regulations on above ^
look to Australia and Canada

and where people have gun shows, there needs to be regulation as people are out in the parking lots selling guns illegally

It's not illegal if it's in a place where private sales are legal. If it's in a place where it is truly illegal, then the police should be called and the people arrested.

Again, all you're saying is we should just do nothing.
Do you want to keep doing things and recommending things THAT DO NOT WORK?

OR
Do you want to find out what if anything CAN WORK ? (by finding as noted already the COMMON DENOMINATOR in all the shootings, or almost all of them)

SEE? You solutions you suggested or asked about DO NOT WORK.

There is ONE that would work, IF the government and corporations PERMITTED ....

We are doing something. Why do you think places are allowing teachers to carry now? This is to keep schools from being soft targets.

that is so irrelevant

that's like saying well there's only 5 kids that have peanut allergies at the school so it's ok for everyone to bring in peanuts
(after all MORE kids don't have allergies)

If there are 5 kids who have peanut allergies, should all the rest of the kids in the school stop eating peanuts?

more guns is NOT the solution re schools

there are teachers who have left their gun in the restroom and another teacher who shot his gun off at school injuring a student
and that tells me that the teacher should not have had a gun not that teachers should not have guns.

rhetorical question, right ? (sort of)

She has no idea what would work, yet. That is coming, Yahweh willing.

Seems like it.
But in reality, if there was something that could be done, then it would have been done, and we would have examples of it. Problem is, countries that are pointed to as being what we should be following are different cultures, and often have replaced gun crime with something else, such as knife crime. When those advocating for banning guns use those places as examples that we should follow, they are only focusing on the particular weapon of choice rather than the violent tendencies of the people using them.
