• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Okay, everyone has said what their education is, what is the predominant Myers-Briggs Personality Type here?

http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes1.htm

I am (fanfare please):

INTJ

Introverted--78% very expressed
Intuitive 63% distinctly expressed
Thinking 50% moderately expressed
Judging 89% very expressed

Which places me in the "Mastermind Rationlist" category

Oooo--I love being a Mastermind mmmmwahahahahaha!

Maybe I just didn't take the test well, or I stradle the line so much that this doesn't reflect my true personality. I found the questions difficult to answer because I see the world in so many shades of gray.

Edited: This describes me much better, almost to a T, than the other description I read: http://typelogic.com/enfp.html

I guess I am an example of personality change.

This time around I got:

Introvert 89%
iNtuitive 25%
Thinking 12%
Perceptive 33%

Every time I have taken this test before I got INFP, not INTP. But it has always been borderline. Once I got the exact same score for F & T putting me in the exact centre of the spectrum. But in general the INFP profile fits me better than the INTP one.

As long as I never get a J. People who are strongly J leave me cold. Of course, to them someone who is strongly P drives them batty. I think the J-P distinction is one of the most difficult ones to overcome in terms of developing good inter-personal relations.

I'll have a BA in English w/Art Minor soon, so it is pretty close. It said writing, public service, and even politics are good professions for the type.
