LOL gods commands is not only to love God with all your heart mind and soul but to love others.
Discriminating against people because of their skin isnt Godly at all. God is no respector of persons and anyone follwing Christ wouldnt be either.

I don't know. I don't feel the need to kill people because they are different than me. You'd have to ask someone who takes his racism that far.

But it's more than just skin. It's ethnicity and culture. What if one race, skin, and culture really is better than all the rest?

Ethnicity doesn't really tell you anything about a person either...

As for culture...you can't know anything about a person's culture from their skin color. I suppose one could argue that there are some cultural aspects that one finds more commonly associated with one skin color or another...but these are far from uniform.

If we start with the premise that one race is better than all of the others then things look different. In that case, what's wrong with racism?

People are ALL ONE SAME HUMAN RACE...
Yet different, by numerous things, from appearance, to behavior, to beliefs, cultures, traditions, on and on...

If ONE does not LIKE another, single person, or group a particular of similar persons.....

THAT ONE person is CALLED "RACIST", which is a ODD claim, imo, since, the VERY SAME ONE, can have very good friends, even relatives that he loves and respects, that ALSO FITS, the very same description of the one single person or group of particular persons he does not like....WITH THE BEHAVIOR being the major thing the One person does not like......

IOW, I find calling one a RACIST, more of cop-out; a self-justification of sorts, to IGNORE the behavior, and pretend it is about Race.

IOW ~ for any person to truly be a RACIST, they would have to DISLIKE, every single person of that RACE.

Personally, I know, no one, who has claimed such a position.

Personally, I know a man, and have heard his named mentioned in conversation, that he is a hard core racist, against blacks. I am friends with this man and his longtime girlfriend, have been to their home, and they to my home. He is white and she is black.

Just saying, how can he be both against all blacks and in love with his black girlfriend?

I'll just go ahead and quote another poster in this thread (emphasis mine):

Back in the day, people would hire Native Americans to work for them because of their strong work ethic and self sufficiency. Then Canada added the residential school system and messed up an entire generation of Natives and afterwards tried to patch things up by creating a compensation system that gave them little incentive to improve themselves. Now Natives in my town have a reputation for being alcoholic, lazy, and entitled people. In this case, the ethnocentric culture that failed them was more responsible for their current state than their race. Things are slowly getting better from what I have been told but it will still be a couple more generations to get them back on track again.

Can you see how the prejudice benefited those native americans in the job market?

The same can be said today about asians in various fields of science.

Just because you have a black girlfriend,husband,friend or whatever doesnt negate racist feelings towards a group of people. He could still just like her and hate the the rest of black people...or he could just be using her.
