I'm actually very glad you asked. Noticed it was much cooler today (beats the humid 90's anyway) and cloudy/a little rainy both yesterday and today. So between that and this thread, figured I'd better check the weather since I don't really do TV, and see I'm under a Tropical storm warning. Kinda right slap in the middle of the warning area, but fortunately I'm inland an doesn't look too bad anyway.

At this point of projection, looks like the center of Colin will pass 50 or more miles North of me tonight. Not sure what side of the storm will have the highest winds but that could make all the difference.

It's 86F here and gorgeous. It's a nice change from lots of rain over the last several weeks that included flooding in some areas of our city.

Looks like the worst of the TS has passed, no biggie. Never really minded the power being out for a time, almost enjoy it, except for the lack of AC. Just about the time I get my piddly little back up power all set up, on comes the electricity.

So, hat's off to the linemen that gets out there in the worst of it to restore power so we have our little creature comforts/necessities, whatever the case may be.

It has been hot here (for the UK ) - a bit too hot for me, but great for getting the washing dried and gardening done. Evenings have been lovely. Had a downpour today, but short lived and the garden needed watering. I think it is going to continue warm, but with slightly lower temperatures. Rain due Friday!

It's 78F here, and it just stopped raining. We were supposed to have a 20% chance of rain, and we just got 2 inches. We're under a flash flood warning and there may be more rain to come.
