we've got mid 60's with bright sunny skies for today. another good day for planting.

Yesterday felt cold; today seems much milder. Very sunny outside, and quite pleasant tonight. I think daytime temps might have been low 60s F, and night-time high 40s.

We are having a drought. I planted a few seeds a month ago. Nothing has come up.
Hoping for rain tomorrow. It has been very windy for a month. Ground is like concrete. I don't have to mow the yard.

incomming clouds in the last hour, with thunderstorms expected close to noon.
that puts paid to the gardening till next week.
was hoping to get in one more day, but it will have to wait for now
as the forecast storms were moved up 12 hours during the night.

on the bright side it means free water and a good soaking for the plants.

today's rain showed up when it was originally scheduled, so i got my shopping done and lunch as well.
even had time to plant one azalia today. the rest will have to wait until Monday.
