I've been totally sidetracked! Very typical for me!

Today a guy in the little soup kitchen came into eat. I asked how he got there because he didn’t have his bird with him. He was sad, said bird had been killed, didn’t want to talk about it. But he was polite…. Well now he is having this trial that he wasn’t prepared for. We all have our serious trials. His best friend. Pray he doesn’t get bitter At God.

It sounds like a very good movie. We don't go out to see movies anymore. The last one we saw in a theater was The Passion of the Christ. It came out in 2004!

It's hard to lose a friend, even if that friend is a bird. Or a cat or dog. Many people don't understand that these creatures become a part of our family. Many say, a dog is a dog. Just a dog. I know preachers who say that. But tell that to a blind person who has a seeing eye dog. They would disagree. Our pets have always been loved. And missed when they're gone. I've shed many a tear. Look into the eyes of a cat or dog and tell me they don't have feelings... They have more feelings than a lot of people.

He was a wonderful bird. He knew his place but added so much to his owner and the observer. I don’t want a pet, I used to. Now if I had a dog it would be a hunting dog. Living outside in a nice kennel eating alone. Not being love sick except for game birds. When they fulfill a purpose and only fellowship with their master and keep their place I could have one. And they wouldn’t be lacking love.

I haven't been to a movie theater in years. I saw the Passsion of Christ and one other moviie and that's it.

Made some all day sun tea, now chillin’ It. It takes better it’s filtered, it can bring down your temp. How hot is it in your respective homes? We ve been having 90s. I’ve been getting out at 9, my hobby is zooming. I am so glad. But not as good as going to church today. Romans 9. Short term memory. We showed care about others salvation.

Hot weather and staying hydrated is all. It doesn't have to be tea. Unsweetened drinks are best, but informed people don't expect Texans to give up their sweet tea. I gave up sugar about 2 months ago and don't believe in artificial sweeteners.

I used to make sun tea, but it's been quite a few years. Ever since a urologist I was sent to told me tea (real tea, not herbal) can contribute to kidney stones.

The temp inside our house? We keep the A/C at 79. Outside temp has been averaging around 105 for the past several weeks. The weather said 100.8 for the month of July. It's bearable. We've actually seen worse in past years.

What is zooming?

Romans is a good study. We've been doing Joshua.

Ah! Good idea. I don't like ice-cold water. But we do keep bottled water handy.

Sweet tea is okay, but I haven't had any in quite some time. Not all Texans are big tea drinkers. Chamomile tea is good. And ginger tea. I've been working on giving up sugar too. And I don't use the artificial stuff either. Much too sweet. And the word artificial just says bad things to me.

Low carb sugar is natural like monk fruit or stevia. Zooming is what my hobby is doing. Taking off like a rocket, going faster and better. Like a car, zoom! Zoom!

WEIRD! And confusing...

Husband and I went to the dentist first week in July for checkup, teeth cleaning. We've been going there for years. We have insurance that pays for the preventative stuff we had done. Today we got a summary of benefits in the mail showing we owe the entire amount! It said we went to an out-of-network dentist.

Checked the network list online and the dental practice is listed. Called the dental office and asked what was the problem. The girl checked and said we have a zero balance. Odd. I asked when it was paid by the insurance. She hmmmd, said it was a zero balance, but she couldn't tell/it didn't show when it was paid. Again, odd. She said we'd have gotten a bill if there was a problem.

We called the insurance. The girl there said the dentist showing on the summary as the one who did the checkup wasn't listed and so it was out-of-network. Yet it was the same dentist as six months ago. Though she was new at that time. Insurance girl was very nice, checked and rechecked, very helpful. Especially when I told her the dentist office said we're paid up.

I'm not sure what to think. Something doesn't sound right somewhere.

No pizza dough recipe. My husband, son, and son-in-law delivered pizza for years.
