I baked my first spaghetti squash today. Lovely! They're really good. I saved the seeds to dry and plant sometime (there were lots of them!). Since I know they're so good, and since they grew whereas my summer squash haven't produced anything on their nice big bushes, I think I'll go with this squash from now on.

I had to use Walmart's online customer support chat today. The person who helped me out said I was the kindest customer he'd spoken with today. Made my heart feel good.

I'd ordered a 50 pound bag of deer corn (for blue jays, squirrels, etc., not deer) and got messages that a "delivery exception" had occurred. The package was damaged. That's all it said. For some reason I'm imagining deer corn scattered all over a road outside of Fort Worth.

Dear @godisagardener , I’m getting a little worried about @Rescued One . She’s living all alone and didn’t talk about a vacation any where. I’m fearing the worst at times. Have you pmed her? She was so nice except for once. Did I say something wrong by her? Is there anything we can do? Unqualified

I started a conversation with her. I'm not sure how that works, but hopefully she'll get the message I sent.

No, she didn't mention a vacation.

I'm sure you didn't say anything. She's pretty easy going. I posted a message on the main Golden Eagles page. Hopefully we'll hear something.

I am so very sorry I missed you both. I wasn't ill or injured. I gave my computer a virus and had no ability yo get it to the shop. My daughter was on a ten-day vacation, then took it to the shop. I finally got it back about 45 minutes ago! I missed you.

We missed you too! So glad to hear you post so we don’t have to grieve. I think I would have felt worse than when I lost my mom. She went right to heaven. I was glad when she got saved. I hope it’s not all about me. But you would have been blessed. God is so powerful and he works in such mysterious ways. But He has made a way for all of us in everything. Rain or shine.

It's so wonderful to see you back!

It's easy to worry when someone disappears for a while, so easy to think the worse. We really missed you!

Hope your computer is good as new. I was without internet for two days this week. Our router bit the dust. And that didn't foul up just the internet, but streaming too. It's amazing how we miss things. Maybe it's a good thing sometimes.

I don't know what the shop did to my computer, but it's really hard to navigate now! I can't get on one of my sites, I can hardly find Google chrome, etc.

It sure made coping easier. Your saved. That’s about all I can leave my brothers is peace of mind.
But the people I don’t know about, I don’t judge because I don’t know. Or for some of them I might not stop grieving. Again self preservation. I don’t want to know until I get to heaven. I know where some are heading so I keep praying.

I believe God saves and converts (convinces) everyone He wants to save. We pray "Thy will be done," and God's will is stronger that Satan's.

is she formerly from 700 club? Nice title. I could probably use the strokes. Yeah, obedience transcends all our problems. Goes beyond, in spite of, instead of, we obey anyway if we really want to . It’s the only thing that really means more than anything else. Too heavy. Let’s celebrate and have a glass of wine for our much infirmities. God is good.

Wondering if it's just me - the quality of fast food has lessen. Know we shouldn't eat it even once a week. Had several errands yesterday so picked up a meal. Almost all of it went in the trash. It's not unusual.. Comparing Items previously selected, the standard of the products are not the same. My husband doesn't usually complain but has mentioned it several times over the last few months.

We don't eat out very often so it's hard for me to compare. But I wouldn't doubt it's the case. We used to frequent Subway when we did our weekly shopping jaunt, but the ingredients, especially the veggies, really began to go downhill. Finally gave it up about a year and a half ago. We last ate out about six months ago. Went to IHOP because my husband had medical labs and when we got there he was told to go out and eat a big breakfast with orange juice and come back at a set time. The food was very good but I almost threw it up after getting the tab.

We do have a supper at church, usually monthly, and several bring store-bought fried chicken. I can definitely say the quality of it has gone downhill, seems very little meat and the cooking process doesn't seem to liven it up any. I stay away from it.

I'm unnaturally leery of fast food anyway.

Went with my husband to the garden supply store and picked up a bunch of bags of pine bark mulch. I'm going to save the plants and shrubs in the front garden from the heat and drought if it's the last thing I do... and my okra plants.

Went grocery shopping this morning.

Why has cat food (yeah, not technically grocery I guess) become so expensive?! I usually buy IAMS, which though not the cheapest, has really gotten out of hand price-wise. I've been saving by catching it on Amazon with a $10 coupon. But today I bought a different cheaper brand to mix in with what I have left of that. The prices are ridiculous. I've seen high-end bags of three pounds for $20. Really?
