So today I went to make my regular donation at the plasma clinic. Last week, I was unable to give because I'd had a tiny mole by my eye taken off for cosmetic reasons and hadn't had the stitching off yet. Today I was cleared for having gotten the stitches off, and the donation went without a problem. But they did tell me that because there's a question on the screening form about having consulted a doctor within the last six months that I would have to indicate yes and explain it to nursing staff there every time I go to donate from now until early January. All this for a mole my doctor thought was too small and insignificant to bother with.

If everyone would please pray for me, as I leave for Niagara Falls tomorrow for a job interview Thursday afternoon. They seemed pleased that I was willing to come in person, so I like to think this will go well, whether I am hired or not.

I am one third of the way to Niagara Falls, now. I am feeling apprehensive about this, the future, living so far away from every other place I have lived in all of my life before this, working somewhere new after being at the same job for almost 6 years straight, and being so far out on my own like this. I am determined to see this through, though. But even so (and I hope I do not sound all childish in my fear or anything), please pray for me to be brave about this.

You're okay. Uncertainty can be frightening. But the Lord didn't lead you this far without a reason. Trust His unchanging hand and seek His favor throughout the process.

Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

I made it through the interview. It went on for about 100 minutes. So hopefully that's a good sign.

Honestly, I am proud of myself just for getting this far.

That is a heck of a long interview. I really hope you get this job. I would hate for you to have gone as far as you did only to be rejected.

I was out for a walk yesterday and tripped over what appeared to be a sprinkler head and seriously hurt my shoulder in a failed attempt to break my fall.
