I found out a girl I knew in high school passed on today. She was a missionary in Kenya. Rejoice for she should be w/ our Lord.

& live in grattitude at all times b/c he may be giving you blessings others may not ever. & know he can come for you at any time.
May she rest in peace.

Last night, I got interested in a couple of videos about the Sims 2 and game corruption. It was presented by a computer programmer. She did an excellent job.

Later on, I started thinking about when I took C++ (a computer programming language) years ago in college. I did not do well in that class because the professor decided he was going to be a jerk and not teach it. I couldn't help but wonder - if a female had taught me programming languages, would I have understood it better?

"Youve said some dumb things Charlie Brown, but that's the dumbest thing you've ever said. Only you would be scared of regretting have met someone you've never met."

Maybe. I know I preferred men teaching math. The other subjects I didn't really have a preference, but for math, I liked it better when men taught it

A church I went to from when I was very young thru deep into college was bad. They didn’t believe in teaching kids. I didn’t hear John 3:16 till a high school friend assumed I knew it because everyone who goes to church knows it. I always had faith, & knew God created the world, people live in rebellion, & Jesus offers eternal life & goodness, but specific verses or anything, I didn’t know, was never taught. Bible was never taught. Just social hour. “Teachers” didn’t know, didn’t care, had no faith themselves, thought you can’t make people believe, everything. The closest thing we got was learning some of the Parables when we were still very young.
This church was thriving when I was very young. We learned parables & sang songs. I remember it was thriving. I remember going to Vacation Bible School a couple times. 50 kids ages kindgergarten thru 5th grade. Then when I personally hit grade it was just 10 in that age range. In one year completely destroyed. It was taken over by people who really didn't care. The church upset people that knew right & they left, then the people who didn't really care siezed power & it all fell apart. Sure, they had a sermon & sang hymns, but they didn't really. You could tell b/c you'd hear them say stuff like 'it's mostly just a good story'. You could tell how they 'taught' Sunday School. Every sermon was on giving to your neighbor. It got worse & worse. The church closed its doors for good about 6-7 years ago.

They blamed it on changing demographics, of course

Then in college I found a good church group. It was really good the 1st 2 years & I loved it. Then the good people graduated. Something was off the 3rd year. It was like they had been so focused on bringing people into the group, there was no one to develop them. It became just social hour or skewed teachings about God too. My buddy agreed so we found a different church group. It was a little better.

A good church group or good church can get destroyed very quickly so watch out & constantly be defending God's truths.

Here’s a few words you need to watch out for you can tell if a church is teaching bad:

Faith – blind belief – not trust, with foundation
Hope – like for a million dollars – not eager expectation
Sin – not being a good person – not anything that rejects God for who he is

Are there no good churches? :(
What are you looking for specifically?? Are you traditional, liturgical, contemporary etc. Keep those in mind along with your theology.

A girl I went to school with years ago lost her brother recently. I'm tempted to shoot her a Facebook message with my condolences, but I don't know if that would be weird or not.
