If everyone will please pray for a few folk I know, including myself. For me, I just got done doing another 16 hour shift, after doing one already just a few weeks ago. Stuff like this is becoming more and more common for many of us in the lab. Please pray for me to make it through, no matter how long this period of doing so much spontaneous and scheduled overtime lasts.
And more importantly, for two others. One is a woman I know from the medical spa I frequent in Texarkana, named Emily. She's usually the person who takes care of me during treatments. Lovely lady, also of the Christian faith. I was contacted by the others working there that I would have reschedule my latest appointment a few days ago since Emily had just gone to the hospital. For labor with, I believe, her third child. God willing since that was a few days ago she is certainly past it by now, but still please pray for Emily to make it through the challenges to come, especially with three children now and yet as dutiful at her job as she is at the same time. It can't be easy for her.
Please also pray for a newborn in my extended family. I have not seen this person since I was a young teen, actually, but I recently learned that he and his wife had their first child. It was about a month ago, I think. And unfortunately, this baby girl, named Gracie, ... already suffers from repeated seizures. When I was maybe nine or ten, I remember once seeing my uncle, who at the time was about my current age, going through just one episode. And it was awful to behold. I couldn't imagine how difficult it was for him to have to live with that. And he was a grown man in his late thirties! Why then, I ask myself, does a little girl not two months old have to suffer through this repeatedly? I learned just now that the doctors my cousin and his wife took her to came up with a temporary solution merely to keep her seizures from happening more frequently than every two hours. This can't be good at all. Please pray for all of their sakes that the problem will be identified and somehow fully healed with Gracie. I admit I know nothing about how this kind of condition works beyond what I once saw happen to my uncle as a child, but if it's possible to cure someone completely, to where they somehow never have to suffer an episode again, much less just not have to worry about it eventually killing them, then may it be so with Gracie.

The Peanut Buttery Member.
We were in semi-regular contact from the time I arrived here, right up until the beginning of the pandemic. I literally couldn't tell you where she is now - and it's been so long that dropping in randomly just doesn't seem, well, 'proper.'
To be honest, this is the first time I've thought about her since 2020. She dropped off the radar and I feel that's how she wanted it. You just want a quiet life after a certain age - well she did, anyway.

I have been convinced for a while that the company is going to go out of business. I think the only way they can survive is if someone intelligent buys the company and gets rid of the vaccine mandate.

Watching the new Love is Blind. For the first time I’m having a hard time wanting to watch more… there’s like zero likable people on here.
I’d totally do a reality show situation though if they had one for Christians. I feel like now that I’m older and have been through a lot I know exactly what I want and if I meet THE guy it’s not going to take more than a few months for me to know. Would y’all be open to meeting someone in a Christian version of an accelerated dating situation like Love is Blind or the Bachelor?

No, not me. My experience has been the guy always likes someone else. No reason to fight other women on TV and humiliate myself.
