CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I've felt so guilty today. & not just b/c of the Good Friday message which was amazing. I've jsut felt all day you can't beat sin no matter how hard you try. Even someone like Mother Teresa or Moses or King David or Paul struggled with sin. I want to be clean. I don't like sinning. It just makes you feel worse. I want to be purged of it. I know when I sin. I know when I make a mistake. It displeases me. It feels good at the time but it's bad. That's what being a Christian means. It means knowing that you're not perfect & never can be. Yes we want to try as hard as we can to be perfect but we never will all by ourself. We long for the day when we are completely clean of our sin.

Completely understandable. I feel the same way too sometimes. There's a Bible verse where Paul talks about how we struggle with the flesh; we want to do it, but then we don't want to do it.

We may see a Revival. As the secularists abandon churches & the God-fearing churches are separated from the I-am-God churches, this will only cause God-fearing churches to thrive. The harvest will be small but it will be delicious. I would love to see a Revival. It can happen even on a small scale! The bad fruit is separated from the good fruit. The bad fruit mxied in w/ the good fruit only spoils the good fruit. The plant must be pruned. God isn't afraid to prune & is what a master gardner does.
