My friend is a spender. I am not. When we go out, we go to the Used DVD store. I have 25 DVDs sitting in my drawer unwatched. I hate that. It always makes me feel behind. I like having just a couple in the drawer at a time. I’m REALLY slow at watching DVDs too. I want to sell them back. Shame on me for not putting my foot down & saying “No I’m not buying one more till I’m more caught up!” He watches 2-3 movies a day. I only watch one once a week. It takes me forever to watch TV shows too.

I'm not a big spender either but I get used DVDs and blurays cheap and have about 20-30 unwatched on a shelf above my tv set. I'm not overly worried about not watching a movie I paid a dollar or less for DVD and $3 or less for a blu-ray set as there is times I go looking around and find nothing of interest to buy and times I don't have the money to buy any at all. Since I got a smart TV I've found a lot of
free content to watch so I'm very far behind watching stuff. Since all the streaming stuff has commercials at times when I do want to watch for hours I grab a movie off the shelf. A few years ago I bought 15 sets of One Piece and was missing a few of the first 5 of the sets and finally procured them at decent prices and started watching them and have 19 sets and am on set 14 now.

I've been buying used movies for about 15 years now and there are times I was finding 50 good movies in a month and at one time I was about 100 movies behind. Then there was a drought and I didn't find but 1-2 movies a month for over 6 months and watched through all of those and rewatched a few of from my collection.

Yeah! I hate when that happens! It's not a $$$ thing. It's just that it feels like watching them becomes a chore b/c you're trying to finish the pile.

I am getting streaming & feel like I'm not going to like having a billion things available for me to watch at once! I get overwhlemed! They call it 'information overload.'

It would take me a few years to watch 100 movies!

Yeah when I cut the cord and went with antenna TV I ran out of content within 6 month to a year or so as I've seen enough reruns on cable tv when I had it. Streaming is a love/hate relationship as I have a DVR with a DTV tuner in it and typically used to record stuff to watch. I found all but wheel of fortune on streaming plus my DVR filled up with stuff I didn't get around to watching so I stopped recording with it.

I don't mind having tons of movies to watch that I haven't go to, my problem is that I get rid of movies that I find either aren't good to begin with or even if good they aren't my thing and not rewatchable as once you know the end of thrillers and mysteries without great dialog and action to watch again relying on the mystery at the end over requires one to have Alzheimers.

I currently have the first season of ST Discovery and stopped watching picard when they purposely put a surprise in it to shock me that irriated me. It was overboard IMO I will take up watching it again but realize that without season 2 and beyong I"m in for likely endless cliffhangers between episodes and seasons which is why if I decide I like a series I get the whole series before getting too far into it to avoid losing track of season plot crossovers.
I've bought partial stuff like I have about 4 sets of DBZ but never finished collecting the series as it was either way too expensive per set or in poor condition or I couldn't find it used for any decent price at all.
There is a lot of good anime out there but sadly when you look for used bargains of it you rarely find whole series or sets and even at 1/4 price for it you still can spend hundreds on a 5 year series and end up with dozens of cased with a single disk and 3-5 episodes on each not an efficient way to collect stuff it takes up a lot of space which is a premium for me.

The paper in this Bible is kind of thick. It’s a great Bible for the price ($1.25). The Cover is White Colored.
