The job that I really wanted was potentially denied by HR. I'm taking today to mourn.

I've been jobless for a month now and I'm going crazy. I continue to apply to jobs, though!

I have been praying that the Lord will make a way for you soon, Miss Shine. I know that searching for work is never an easy time to go through for anyone.

I know it sounds like a throwaway piece of advice, but you're always in the right place at the right time. The NEXT chapter of your life, the high quality friends you'll meet, the life altering experiences you'll enjoy, and the satisfaction for life you're about to receive, are absolutely all 100% dependant upon what you are doing NOW. (Or... not doing now.)

So even though you may feel discouraged, in the bigger picture, it's actually a very important component to the life you're about to step into. I hope that soon enough, this makes sense to you.

I think you are having a rough time, I said a prayer for you. I do not know what you are going through, but I hope you find a healthy way to get through.

I have learned solutions for my feelings.
When I am angry I run, workout, box.
When I feel defeated I spend time in nature. Get away. Walk or a Picnic. I can relax and meditate and level my self.
At my most low I got a puppy and she is my best friend now many years later.

Seek what you need to get your self back.
It may be some thing you did not try.
Learn what it is so you always have it.

The World likes to ruin our plans.
It will never quit Fighting.
Neither should you.

One thing I'm able to do at work is view birthdates of our families. Very few families start in their 30's.

When people say 'you're still young', that's not very helpful. If I don't do whatever it is I need to do, one day I will wake up & won't be young & still stuck.

Yesterday I looked out the window & saw a couple my age, probably younger. I felt terrible.
I ran out of time.
I'm wasting my life single. I've missed out on so much time w/ one.
I'm never good enough for one.
I'm too much of a loser.

Sometimes you hear the reason people are taller today is b/c what we eat. Don’t genetics determine how tall people are, tho?

Last night I had a bad fever of 103.8. Almost called 911 but took a cold shower instead. Feeling much better today. No fever and barely any other symptoms. My doc said its a very mild strain going around.

I'm interested about how much of an influence lead exposure has had on us - a video I watched a while back suggested that we're less intelligent NOW than previous generations, because of the amount of lead we've been exposed to.

Also, not to rub it in @Saucy but I've just done my pre-departure test at Heathrow and I am negative! I've honestly never been so nervous. I've been testing every 48 hours but still. You never know.
