I think human society progressed to mostly being monogamous because it better incentivizes the average person to fully participate in their community.

I wonder when monogamy because popular. Probably around the time of Jesus.

It would be a total mess if polygamy was the social norm instead of monogamous relationship. Even in countries where it is legal, not everyone is polygamous.

The situation never changes. Never breaks. In spite of the prayer and aid. The purse is under continued attack. When breakthroughs are fleeting you must discern the reason for its occurrence. Human error, sin, outside influences, or spiritual lessons.

Luckily Erin will be in place of the normal guy on my crew just next door to me. Her presence is a delight, although for a different reason than it was for me before. ... Let us just say a certain kind of undesirable atmosphere is sure to be lessened if not negated altogether when she is there on my crew.

Today was a good day. ... It's not difficult to notice that angry words, hateful gossip, and disgusting humor are held in check when she is present. She is much like my last friend who unfortunately came and went in just nine months or so back in 2019, Heidi, who I spoke of with esteem for her good and upbeat nature. When I was working with Heidi, things just overall seemed less tense and the extreme forms of crude (well, outright nauseating some of the stuff I have heard) "guy" humor did not float about the place nearly so freely.

Relationally speaking, He addressed two parties most. While He’s commented on others I received greater insight on them. [/COLOR][COLOR=rgb(0, 0, 0)]They’re the ones He laid on my heart or asked me to pray for over lengthy periods. They’re my 3am assignments.

Silence is equally important. I consider that in my interactions. You can’t be into me and He never brings you up. I wouldn’t assume its a green light. [/COLOR]

I suppose that means that you aren't using your beliefs to justify treating others poorly, most often meaning LGBT people or people of different religions.

Non-believers are rarely concerned about harm. They expect Christians to muzzle their opinions and stay out of their affairs. The refusal to sanction sin is usually the problem.

Everyone, please continue to pray for a former member here and her husband as their financial problems just will not stop. It was hard for me to finally start saying no to helping , but they still need it. Please pray that the Lord will make a way for them. No one deserves this kind of uncertainty and struggle.

Not sure, but I wonder if it is the same person I am in touch with. She's very young and there has been many financial problems just getting gas in the car. My prayers are with them. I wish I knew the entire picture but God knows.

I wonder if it's the same person I was helping out as well. Former singles member here who kept asking me on Facebook for gas money and the like.
